If you know me in real life, the moment you speak to me in fake accent I dismiss you immediately, I take an instant dislike to you. I want nothing to do with you. If I tune into the radio and I hear fake accent I switch off. If I am dealing with you one on one I end the conversation, I don’t care what is at stake. It’s so .

I remember this girl who was among those shortlisted for a job. The minute she started talking, I just couldn’t stand there and listen to her. I just said ok we’ll get back to you….and never did.

Nothing says insecure, pretentious, fake and untrustworthy like a fake foreign accent.
