Well perhaps you should search for both performance as governor to clear your doubt.

Politics aside, the stats don't lie.

Well like I said you and his critics don't have to like him,but you can't dispute the fact.

He pushed Anambra to another realm, met the state in like 13 position in education ranking but left the State in first position.

Forget politics, the stats don't lie.

Rubbish. Actions have consequences. You voted for a condemned criminal because of tribalism. After seeing the damage you caused, you're here shamelessly talking garbage?

Spit!
There were some that voted on the basis of hate for igbos, not necessarily because they liked tinubu. That hate is not their fault, it's politically sponsored hate messages from APC that caused it. However, only yorubas who were limited in knowledge were misled. The very knowledgeable ones fired against the APC . I know several

There were some yorubas that abstained from voting because they were not convinced about the obi frenzy- having just recovered from another pro-buhari media frenzy inwhich they were misled.

There were equally yorubas that campaigned and voted for obi or Atiku based on their knowledge of party and individual history

The main issue which is not talked about is the delegate system - it needs reforms. The election is already spoilt by party delegates who choose the worst possible candidates to represent each party at the ballot. This leaves voters confused. Being that the parties present the worst possible candidates to represent them, you don't expect the worst of each party to do issue based campaign. They are the worst for a reason. They have no good track, believe in thuggery and bribes and are not interested in due process. They come to thief.

Rather than having illiterates as party delegates, we need a reform that sets a high educational qualifications as minimum entry for party delegates. Apart from education, proven background check and people who have track of community service and integrity. They also must present guarantors who can attest to their integrity so that they and the guarantors can be arrested on account of bribe taking to vote flagbearer. If the parties give us their best through the delegate votes, the country will still do well if general election is rigged

I have observed a trend recently on the internet and especially on nairaland and I believe it will help us all a great deal if we refrain from the trend and get more clarity.

Let's call a spade a spade. That nigeria's affairs are in the hands of tinubu right now is not because yoruba people voted based on tribal sentiment.

It is because as usual there was massive rigging perpetrated by the inec as a result of corruption and impunity in the system. This is just one leg of it.

The second reason is that, as far as elections are concerned, the nigeria police and judiciary have always acted as arms of the ruling party at any given time.

That said, one problem that Nigerians have is that we have this habit of relegating real issues and hopping on trivial ones. We get carried away in the process and even begin to fight ourselves on tribal or religious basis while the real enemy continues to do more damage.

It's not further math. If all the yorubas (SW) voted for tinubu and all the igbos (SE) and SS voted for obi, obi would have out performed tinubu in a free and fair election.

This tells us that tribal voting wasn't the big factor in tinubu's victory, it was electoral malpractice.

See all that energy we expend dragging and cursing people who allegedly voted tinubu on tribal basis, let us channel it towards re-examing how events unfolded during the last general election, which loopholes inec and apc exploited for their rigging game and let us brainstorm on how to be prepared to beat them to the game by bridging those loopholes next election.

I can assure you that if we continue trading blames over who didn't vote for the right candidate and refuse to talk about the real issues, 2027 election will also come and go and the story will remain the same.

I'm sure those who didn't apply wisdom in voting during the general election are regreting already. We don't really need to over flog the issue.

The post election tribal war on the internet is even a threat to sensible voting in subsequent elections so let's nip it in the bud.

God bless Nigeria.
Go and concentrate on your life, maybe you would not beg for food like those before you. You are shaming your forefathers not Yorubas. We have humiliated you all, in 2027, we will humiliate you again, and in 2031, we will handover to Shettima/Wike, then you can commit mass suicide then

Honestly, I was shocked to hear from the present government and it's officials that Tinubu inherited a damage county and economy from the past Buhari administration. I was shocked to my marrow. How can?
This is from APC to APC, after 8yrs. When people critized the past administration and the way they ran the government then, the present day czars in government, said Buhari was doing well.
So why can't we blame them? Those you said we should not blame, were they not the ones that carried the then and present administration on their head and castigated those opposed to it as WAILERS?.
So what wrong would I have done if I hold the Yorubas responsible for ills of both past and present administration?

All I know is that way back in the 1960's a group of under 20 rag tag men planned and committed a couple againt nigeria to seize power and the rest of the country termed it an IGBO COUP up until this present day even while half the people who planned that coup wasn't from the south Eastern part of the country.

Now today half a tribe of yorubas planned, muscled and rigged their tribesmen into power and they now say the rest of the country shouldn't call it a yoruba takeover of government 🙄

Before it was only 20 people that planned the coup, today it was over 3 million yorubas that voted and rigged their own person as president.
