No one builds in an unfavorable atmosphere. They should seek righteousness first before, anything self |

Fireoflife:Sure, it's rooted in their mentality and way of life. They're full of envy and bitterness. Such mindset is anti progress and anti development. Igbos are open minded, that's why they bring progress wherever they go. Yorubas really need to learn from Igbos. |

Truths9ja:Lol, they keep shifting goal posts after being pummeled mercilessly, now it's about industries ![]() Dude, the oil industry in Oguta is 100x more valuable than whatever industry is in ile Ife. What are the industries available in ile Ife? Can they be up to the number of industries in just one street in Nnewi ![]() |

Mindlog:Lol, they also need a crash course on basic use of English. Imagine calling houses built in the 1960's and 70's centuries old ![]() Aba, Onitsha and Enugu also have buildings built since 1950's but that doesn't mean they will now become slums and unsightly like those in yorubaland. All these cheap excuses they keep giving is why they will never improve. That's why I like Igbos, if they're the ones having this slum problem, believe me, same Igbos will accept the problem and quickly begin to suggest how to change the situation. That's resilience! But yorubas will keep denying even when the evidence is staring at them. Spit! |

SSFeedsNigeria:Ile Ife is not the biggest settlement in Osun state. Stop displaying your ignorance in the public. Is it Oguta wey I don go before? Is it not the homse state of late Arthur Nzeribe? His house was built on large acres of land. I have been there. It's a village/town. Far below Ile Ife in terms of development. |
| Re: Aerial Shot Of Ile Ife, Osun State and Oguta, Imo State by SSFeedsNigeria: 4:23pm On Nov 16, 2023 |
GoodLife4live:Another delusional clown on the loose. Imo State alone has a bigger GDP than your big for nothing Oyo state! No place in the entire Ogun state is close to Owerri in terms of development or beauty! What's there in Ogun state? The capital Abeokuta looks like Timbuktu in 1689 derelict and decaying houses everywhere. No inner roads except dirt roads and dusty paths ![]() The only thing that makes it appear as if anything is happening in Ogun state is those industries built at the border with Lagos State. Even with all the industries built to serve Lagos, Sango Ota and Agbara are still so backward. The roads are so terrible that one begins to wonder what Ogun state governors are doing with the so-called IGR. Sango Ota and Agbara should be looking like Aba because they're all industrial towns. But Aba is far ahead of those glorified villages in Ogun state. If I show you a drone pictures of Aba, you will shed tears for Ogun state ![]() |

forgiveness:You really must be suffering from cataract and glaucoma combined. Didn't you see where I stated second biggest settlement in Osun state? Of course, it's second to Oshobo but Oguta is far ahead in terms of urban planning and beauty. Stop arguing blindly! |

INDOMIE9090:Those houses with brown roofs were not built and roofed with zinc sheets centuries ago as no part of Nigeria roofed with zinc centuries ago as they all evolved from thatched roofs because the first documented history of zinc being used as a roofing material is the Saint Barthélémey church in Liège around 1811 and we both know that the Europeans brought zinc sheets to Africa before local production commenced. I laugh when folks associate thatched roofs with poverty because I am a die hard fan of well maintained old buildings and when not working, I do road trips to visit centuries old buildings that are well maintained, makes me feel the blast from the past. Maintain, irrespective of age. |
