1) African,
2) blacks,
3) Afro-american or
4) Caribbean blacks (including Yoruba)
The fact that a Yoruba man in the Caribbean is mixed race or light skinned because of inter-racial marriage doesn't make them white. So the emphasis on Yoruba could mean Yoruba Caribbeans are fond of trying to gum body with the white to boost their self esteem. But the whites are stylishly telling them that "we no be mate". Hence, the emphasis on Yoruba pointed out explicitly as black just to put the Yoruba back to where they belong

This is a whole new level of pettiness! It might interest you to know that I’m neither Igbo nor Hausa. The hardships, insecurity and poverty in Nigeria are effecting a vast number of Nigerians irrespective of their tribes or political affiliations. Those are real issues worthy of discussion. Let me add that two of my brothers are married to beautiful Yoruba women, so I have nothing against Yoruba people. Have a good one.
