What I TOTALLY don't understand is HOW the government allows this!!!!!!!! It is human nature to take offered loans. It is also human nature to default on loans we thought we could pay back. They're taking advantage of that - and only the government can stop them!!!! |

The secret of loan shark is very simple. Before you borrow money from any loan app company, MAKE SURE you take off all your phone contact and store them in a different phone. Make sure you have FAKE contacts on the phone you are installing the loan app. Make sure you have fake phone contacts on the phone you are installing the loan app Make sure you have fake phone contacts on the phone you are installing the loan app ![]() Please take that information seriously. Don't keep your original contacts on that phone you are installing that loan app. That's is the only way they can blackmail you. A word is enough for the wise |

The loan sharks actions are a response to a Nigerian problem. Nigerians take loans all the time with no plan to pay them back. Multiple finance houses and lower tier banks have failed because of this. They have identified harassment and embarrassment as a tool that can force people to pay. I cannot fault their methods because 95% of the people who take those loans never had any plan to repay. Let the average Nigerian become more financially honest and these companies will not resort to methods like this |

THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS WITH MOST NIGERIANS MOST Nigerians are evil by nature GREEDY WICKED and VERY SELFISH 90% of times when you borrow people money, you will have to beg or force them to return the money. They will never pay back in the time they promised to pay back. Most times, they will even break the payment into pieces, delay the payment, frustrate you until you angrily give up on asking for the balance. I have stopped borrowing people money because of these reasons. The was a time I borrowed a brother and a family friend money, he was supposed to pay back in one month, but at the end he paid back AFTER 5 YEARS. I DIDN'T HE EVEN ASK, HE JUST TRANSFERRED THE MONEY TO ME... No matter how touching your story is now, I WON'T BORROW YOU ANY MONEY, NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE TO ME. THE BEST I DO NOW IS TO JUST GIVE YOU WHATEVER I FEEL LIKE GIVING YOU, WITHOUT EXPECTING A REFUND. You can't blame the desperation of those loan sharks, most Nigerians pushed them to that limit and THOSE DEBTORS DESERVE ALL THE EMBARRASSMENTS THEY ARE GETTING FROM THEM. |

Nigerians are really bad people. They will collect loan without intention to pay back. I see many Nigerians supporting the debtors against the creditors but I'm not surprised cos they're the same people that supports yahoo boys against the victims |

We have the most useless government in Nigeria. Send the message a person received on his due date from a loan shark.

Chetas81:You've been misruled beyond repairs. Defaulting on payment doesn't call for publication of your obituary. There are civil way of recovering defaulted loans with accrued interest with BVN. The sad truth is that some most of the loan companies breaching the privacy rules are owned by the staff of FCCPC, the regulatory body set up to check the loan companies and protect Nigerian image. The make as much as 200% profit monthly and I won't be surprised if the president or those close to him have interest in them. Nigerians are in for a loan ride. Shame of the policy makers. Shame on Consumer Protection Commision. Shame on FCCPC |

Almost all the write ups demonise the money lenders. But I imagine there are people taking loans they have no Intention of paying. |
