Didn't know you're an inec staff. My curiosity re inec modalities hurt you so very much you resort to name-calling abi?
Well, I'm not in the mood or poor frame of mind to trade words with you.
I have shifted, thank you.

Who's this unthinking dolt?, should INEC force a party from submitting or not submitting a name they wanted?. abeg shift

They handed over an evidence to him, he congratulated him and refused to go to court, bla bla bullshit.. how does it correlate with the stupid question you vomited earlier? boy, allow your brain connect with your mouth before talking in public. just an advice.
I said it. You're bereft of the least ounce of common sense.
You read but don't understand. What a pity.
How did you finish school? Or maybe school just finished you and discarded you from their premises.

Isn't this a pre election matter? Why did the tribunal even entertain it in the first place?

NNPC said Yusuf was their candidate eventhough they knew he wasn't on the register and there was no primaries. do you feel like INEC should have fought their choice?. people should learn to seperate INEC from party's blantant errors.

Many Nigerians don't understand the electoral process, unfortunately, including politicians themselves. You won't be able to enlighten them. Most political parties don't engage the services of electorally savvy lawyers until after elections.

Meanwhile a smart politician/party should, all the way, seek legal guidance and counsel from an experienced lawyer from the stage of party nomination through election, and post-election. No they won't. They make a mess, get sacked by the courts, and then run to the media to wail. I nor fit talk jor. grin

Blatant lie by Ganduje?, was his claim not corroborated by court that Yusuf's name wasn't in the register, even more so there wasn't primaries. You drip of so much daftness, little wonder some people are now ignoring you, better i take a cue.

The matter self get k leg.

No submission of form to inec, no primary election, yet inec added him as one of the contestants coz his name would also be on the ballot, and same inec declared him the winner.

Shut up for dumb rock.
Ganduje is claiming that submission of names had closed as at the time Kwankwaso joined NNPP which is a blatant lie
The court is ruling that Abba Yusuf was not a member of the party as at the time elections held.
Can you see the difference?
Or you're here to advertise your daftness as usual?

Well, the court and tribunal ruling are totally at variance to what Ganduje is claiming.
Tribunal: cancelled 165k ballot papers and declared Gawuna winner
Appeal: Cancelled Abba Yusuf's candidature on the premise that he was not a member of the party when elections held
Ganduje: claims submission of names to inec had closed when Kwankwaso joined nnpp.
I hope you can see clearly now

I don't know. I haven't seen the full judgement to know how they ruled on the unsigned ballot papers. But they based their judgement on disqualifying Abba Yusuf which Ganduje is claiming they're the architects. That's my point.
Appeal Court even said the tribunal should have disqualified him.
My point though is Abba Yusuf joined NNPP before the gubernatorial primaries. In fact, he joined March 2022 while gubernatorial held in May. So Ganduje is simply lying.

Oh shut it you dumb asshole.
You're unaware Abba Yusuf actually joined NNPP in March 2022 at least in public. Ganduje is lying.
The only possibility is that NNPP failed to update their party register with INEC and it will require an insider to give out such info to APC. Maybe that's why Ganduje is telling this lie.
But it's obvious he's lying. You're just too dumb to know

I'll be the happiest person in the world if the supreme Court upholds the decisions of the two lower courts.

They elected you, you've not even settled in, you started destroying all what your predecessor built. To what end?

If the supreme Court doesn't uphold this judgement, then they are useless.

Whether you like APC or not is not the issue here, the issue here is did NNPP follow due process? The answer is no.

Kabir Abbah must go.

“And because they desperately wanted a governor in Kano State, the party gave them a ticket to contest. But they made a serious blunder because when they joined the party, INEC had closed submission of nomination forms. But they were blind and uneducated. They went into the ring without making careful observation of this.

“They did not know that we laid in wait. We took the file, submitted it to Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gwuna and told him to hold it tight. When we filed a petition at the Kano governorship election tribunal, we told the court that they were not fielded by the party. We told the court that when INEC closed accepting names of candidates, they did not join the party.”

This is very embarrassing and I believe it was not really a mistake.

It was a strategy by Dr Kwankwaso, the Presidential candidate of NNPP, to bolster his own chances in his Kano state home base.

There's no way his Presidential campaign could get traction and make the local politicians see the benefits in his campaign to them unless he dangles the prospect of Kano state governorship seat before them. It's still part of the politics. Kano state is strategic and the stakes are very high. I don't believe he made mistake, it was deliberate and the only option they had left.

In 2011, ACN fielded Mallam Ribadu as a Presidential candidate for a similar reason even when it knew the chances of winning was slim. ACN didn't want to be without a Presidential candidate so it would not be forced to give PDP and CPC the edge to corner ACN members. Check my signature for free stuffs!
Yes this is a reasonable submission.

Oga please if you are not able to reason appropriately, get off comments, listen and learn.

Had common sense not told you that it was inappropriate for the same INEC who fixed the deadline, turn around to accept forms after the dates? Is it not enough for a right thinking person to wonder what’s wrong with our nation and the electoral body?

For you not turning them down which was the appropriate thing, became normal. Your likes lend credence to Buhari’s assertion that Nigerian youths are lazy.
