⚡Turkish FM Hakan Fidan on Hamas:

We do not have to think the same way as Western countries on Hamas. Our President declared and I declare: We do not recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization.

Hamas is a party operating within the Palestinian state system, a movement that emerged under the conditions of occupation.

We do not approve of violence against civilians. If Hamas kills civilians, we condemn it, just as we condemn the Israelis.

⚡Israel has borrowed billions of dollars in recent weeks through privately negotiated deals to help fund its war against Hamas but is having to pay unusually high borrowing costs to get the deals over the line, FT reports.

Since Hamas’s attack on October 7, Israel has raised more than $6bn from international debt investors.

This has included $5.1bn across three new bond issues and six top-ups of existing dollar and euro-denominated bonds, and more than $1bn of fundraising through a US entity.

⚡Estonian Defense Minister Pevkur dispelled Kiev's last hope, saying that the F-16 will not help in the war against Russia.

"Of course, you need, first of all, ammunition for long-range, ammunition for various types of missile systems, and so on. Planes are important, but planes alone will not change the course of the war. After all, you need an army that controls the territory. And liberates it, because only with planes you will not take back the territory," he said.

Just to be clear.
What happened on October 7 was a terorist attack.
Israel was right to retaliate and they are also within their own rights to defend themselves.

Even if they want to route Hamas out of Gaza, I've got no problem with that. Hamas should be routed out.

But no conscientious individual will support the mass slaughter and systemic extermination of a group of people.

More than 13,000 Palestinians have perished within 2 months, including children, women and innocent men.
Nobody with a conscience should justify the ongoing genocide.
The blockade of food, water, medicine, fuel and electricity is evil, wicked and callous.

Israel is not the first country to have waged a war against an external entity.

America invaded Vietnam and fought for 10 good years. They never blockaded Vietnam. They didn't try to systematically kill off the non-combatant civilians - even though the VietCong employed guerilla warfare extensively.

America was in Afghanistan for many years an never blockaded the country. They didn't try to kill off civilians or bomb houses just for the fun of it.

In real time, we see Russia invading Ukraine. Russia has largely kept to international rules of war. They have avoided where possible, civilian casualties.

Israel or any other country for that matter does not have any justification whatsoever to systemically eradicate a group of people from the face of the earth.

What is happening in Gaza is horrible and nobody should support that.

I was supporting Israel before and I still support their right to self defence. I am also indifferent of they wish to remove Hamas.

But I will never support the indiscriminate bombing of houses, hospitals and schools in the name of fighting Hamas. Innocent civilians are dying. Many are injured. Many more are left without basic necessities of living.
It's either u tell us what brought ur sudden change of heart or forget this scam game u are playing

As I've said many times since this war started, in spite of being a Muslim, I will never support the unjust treatment of a Christian or anyone for that matter by another Muslim.

Well done.
Pls can U kindly mention where this unjust treatment of Christian is happening, I honestly will like to know

You still have not repented if you can't condemn Israel atrocities against the Palestinians before Oct 7 event. The way everybody keeps lactating on the Oct 7th event is funny. Let's start from the beginning let's see how it started and at the end let's see who takes the blame.

Your humanity is just coming back that's why you can see the evil Israel is perpetrating but I am surprised that you cannot see that Israel didn't start it today. Israel does it every day it is called systemic ethnic cleansing. I think Christianity takes humanity away from people cause I was even shocked when Pastor E.A Adeboye was supporting and praying for Israel and the way my fellow Christian faithfuls on NL were supporting genocide. Christianity shouldn't breed barbarians.

thrash, bomb doesn't distinguished infant and military. If you hide behind civilian those civilians will definitely get hurt. Tell your Hamas to come out from civilian homes and tunnel, face Israel man to man. Israel will triumph over the evil. Bible is not a Koran and Mohammed that can lie. The land of Israel must be definitely be restored. Those who want to challenge God of Israel will get themselves burn. Amen.

Israel that is even merciful , they even knock on their roof telling them to evacuate before bombing. The truth is that 85% of the so called civilians are Hamas . Death to all Hamas- civilians.

The world leaders have gone bunkers and one day they will sink the world with their new found toys
Lol At least we know US and Russia are rivals.. even tho the latter never had any issues with the former. But at least we know they're somewhat enemies hence the arms race between the 2. But France? Who's gonna nuke her? or who will she be nuking? Mali or Niger? grin grin

@first paragraph.. I concur. I don't think the world will survive another 200-300 years. It'll be a miracle to not have nuke engagements in at least 70years from now.

actions have consequences.
nobody what civilian death but what is happening in gaza part of the bad decisions from gaza people.
when Hamas attack Israel the people should know there will consequences and condemned the attack immediately but no, some of them even takes part in looting while majority of them were happy, sharing sweet or whatever on the street.
what is AK doing in hospital? the doctors/UN knew the consequence yet they allow hamas to use hospitals, schools etc as base.
I hope you all will keep the same energy when the Nigerian Army reacts to IPOB attacks by bombing civilians, hospitals, homes, universities and residential estates in retaliation. I remember Operation Python Dance conducted by the Nigerian Army in 2017 in Abia state. The Igbos were quick to start calling UN, AU, EU, ECOWAS, CNN, BBC, US, NNPC, USD, NYC and every other abbreviation known to mankind.

Now it's funny how people who know the dangers of collective punishment will support the killing of civilians because they belong to the wrong religion. We'll be here if and when the "Fulani Army" like y'all call it decide to commit a genocide and massacre in reaction to attacks by IPOB and Niger Delta Militants.

⚡Israel's prime minister's office:

We strongly condemn the Iranian attack against an international ship.

The ship, owned by a British company and operated by a Japanese company, was hijacked by the Houthi militia in Yemen.

On board the ship are 25 crew members of different nationalities, including: Ukrainians, Bulgarians, Filipinos and Mexicans.

No Israelis were present on the ship.

This is another act of Iranian terrorism which expresses a leap forward in Iran's aggression against the citizens of the free world, and creates international implications regarding the security of global shipping lanes.

With due respect sir, I disagree with you here. We shouldn't blame the religion but the way people practice it. Clearly, many Nigerian Christians support Israel and that makes them hypocrites, but don't forget that many Christians in Southern Africa, Asia, and especially Latin America have been condemning Israel. It's the same reason I don't subscribe to the belief that all muslims are terrorists. It all boils down to who we are deep down.
