In the heart of the turbulence called the Sanni Abacha regime, a silent war was raging, a body called the PTF, managed by a certain sadist who later became president with the help of other sadistic beings was collecting all the proceeds of oil sales, and from that dispensing infrastructural projects as it deemed fit, and also funding Swiss banks with trillions of Naira of our commonwealth.

Some sections of the country were completely excluded from these projects, states like in some parts of the south were abandoned to their fates, no roads, no bridges were done and they were made to wait.

The same was practiced all through 2015 to 2023. We are still seeing traces of this same malaise. A federal government bridge failed in a state in enugu, no attention, another road has gone terribly wrong, and yet the federal government will choose to continue as usual.

I have heard some idiotic gruntings of beings with smelly mouths who suggest that state governors of the affected States should use the scarce resources allocated to them to go and build these failed roads, and allow the federal government whose responsibility it is to stand and watch.

These mentally imbalanced people seem to think they are mocking the region where these roads fall, as they keep calling out the governors to repair the roads for the good of the indigenes of these states.

How stupid can some people be?

Let me tell you the truth, some of the state governors are smarter than you all, they have alternative routes where people move from, completely cutting off federal government roads.

The situation will now hit hard on the transporters bringing goods, some of them sleep on the road for days, some lose their merchandise, some goods gets lost etc.

One animalistic being was even mocking enugu people, telling them that food prices will shoot up, as transportation costs will shoot the cost of food upwards.

Can you imagine the comcombility

I have news for you guys, some goods also flow upwards too, and the same inflation can hit up north. Oil, gas, palm oil, finished goods and drugs all pass these same deathtrap called roads on their ways to Kano, Kaduna and Borno.

That knife can cut both ways.

It's a funny situation, where the government set out to punish a region, but end up punishing their own brothers

Nigerians are funniest people on Earth. How can you abandon a federal and say that only one tribe is suffering? If you live in Enugu state you will know that nobody remembers the existence of that road. Gburugburu constructed another road from Nsukka to uzo uwani which we now use to link Onitsha. North and South south suffer more for that road

When Buhari and Fashiola were criminally neglecting SE federal roads that's when a sane citizen would have raised alarm, not after you cheered them because they were favoring you on the short run.

Lol, they think they're doing Igbos but forgetting it will mutually affect all. Those trailers are mostly owned by Northerners. Now imagine the damage this trailer and others will suffer on that road.

Goods coming from NE, NC and parts of NW will have to pass through that bad road. Others from SS and SE will also pass through the road. The road will even benefit North more than Enugu or SE and SS. The governor should not use his meagre resources to repair that road.

Just imagine federal road in South East

and what stops the governor in the state from fixing it,abi wike fixed federal roads in pH,and he got refunding!!

Youths in that community should impound that tanker or force the owner fix back that hole they dug there to avoid it becoming another gully erosion site.

You can't dig such deep hope because you want to drive through only to abandon the villages to suffer the consequences.

This is where you give it to Okezie Ikpeazu, he was simply the best at bypassing Federal highways with new roads across the State. This is what his critics know nothing about expect if you are an indigine or shuttle driver and know the roads.
