No case will be as painful as that of David Lyon of Bayelsa who was sacked a day to swearing in because of his Deputy's mistakes. Not even his

Appeal Court is the Final on Gubernatorial Election Petition
Not true ..it's the supreme court.
Appeal court is the final for only national assembly elections

it's a greek gift, BCM remains governor. Even the judges know they are wrong but they are
busy justifying their errors with sections of the law that doesn't apply but are blind to the section that forbids the Court from entertaining the case
You see this Plateau & Kano are cases that I can't even place any hand on same.

The sacking of governors and federal lawmakers this time is unprecedented, I blame INEC for everything that is happening
They are not being sacked because of election conducted by INEC but because of party primary.

The panel held that the appeal brought by Nentawe Goshwe of the All Progressives Congress (APC) succeeds as the issue of qualification was both a pre and post election matter under Section 177(c) of the Nigerian Constution, 1999 and Section 80 and 82 of the Electoral Act, 2022.

The good people of Plateau rejected Nentawe

It is wild he could become Governor despite that, based on technicalities
Matawalle and Douye Diri were both rejected by the people of Zamfara and Bayelsa in 2019. The court made both of them governor in similar manner. So, what’s your point again? We should be asking PDP why they refused to comply with the judgement of the court of appeal regarding Plateau state chapter.

Oyewole is just a year younger than Abiru.
So this is how we run our justice system?a situation where cronies of politicians are sponsored as judges to carry out dirty jobs and give questionable judgements to favour them.No wonder former NBA president was bold enough to tell the whole world that Nigeria judges are very corrupt and useless

PDP Plateau State did not learn from the same mistake ZAMFARA STATE APC MADE IN 2019!

Why do politicians fail to learn and allow history to repeat itself?

PDP in Plateau State should blame their selves alone! This was a self-inflicted problem!

THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE JUDICIARY!!!

APC on the Plateau boasted that they have the connections to get what they want in the Courts. The President of Court of Appeal is only helping her kinsman the former governor. Of the truth PDP did the primaries and INEC tendered the evidence to that effect. APC must not collapse the fourth republic with desperation some of us fought for it. They should take it easy

My brother, that's how it has been post-1999.

it's only getting worse by the year. The reason many will argue that we don't have the likes of Nnamani, Iguh, Oputa, Eso etc.

It has nothing to do with INEC. It's the parties. The electoral law doesn't give INEC the power not to publish the names submitted. If INEC insists to stop these candidates, they and their parties will go to court and attempt to scuttle the process so INEC will rather let the courts deal with them. When is against the APC, other parties are meddlesome interlopers, doing busy body

But when the APC is meddling into other parties affairs it becomes justified

Why! Why! Why!

I had often wondered why Dongban is often mentioned. Everyone seems to be pointing at her direction. I knew Lalong played a big role in her getting the PCA position but I find it hard to believe she is involved in any of this kind of things.
