We all have a responsibility to ourselves. If you feel the environment is against you then it behoves you to make sure you are not found wanting in any regard. You cannot jump on the highway and blame a driver for not slowing down.

I remember how APC fought frantically to get their congress in order before the deadline (when Yobe governor was caretaker)

Whatever side of the divide you fall on, I think we must also learn to take responsibility for our own lapses. PDP is a mess how do you get 14m votes and lose and election? The few states you have you are losing to incompetence, is that how they want to govern a country.

I cannot stand LP and Obi but right now they are looking more like the deaf to opposition party that PDP.

Apc Plateau Gubernatorial Aspirants are also in Supreme Court over Apc Plateau Primaries that produced Nentawe. It was shown live that day on TVC with all aspirants walking away because they also disobeyed the law and imposed Nentawe without a properly conducted primaries. There is a reason the tribunal ruling was against APC. It promises to be interesting at the Supreme Court

This is outright incompetence. PDP is losing too many due to , infighting, incompetence and anyhowness.

Don’t put this on APC or the judiciary. The court order that rendered Plateau PDP invalid was obtained by aggreived PDP members. PDP internal fighting cost them the presidency, it has also cost them plateau state. You can’t keep sabotaging yourselves and blaming the judiciary.

My argument on the Plateau matter is that whether it was well-conducted or not, an Appeal Court validated the fresh Congress in February this year.

I know Justices Andenyangtso & Goodluck were on that panel so tbh I am at a loss.

APC supporters , you guys all have conscience I know, please try and ask yourself why the tribunal or the appeal court hasn't sack any out of the all the APC governors that won elections and re-election. Are they the only ones who won fairly without electoral fault and blemishes?Let us always remember the law of reciprocity and stop defending what we know is outright evil.

Yes please, PDP in Plateau Followed the law in Plateau State. They did fresh congress after the court judgement by Justice Gang. The factional leader(Bitrus Kaze) even congratulated the winner(Chris Hassan) afterwards. The video evidence can be shared if you need so. Meanwhile, the APC candidate did not even allow Primaries to be conducted for his emergence. I watched on TVC the walkout by other APC candidates protesting Nentawe's emergence without a proper gubernatorial primaries. But we have to just allow the court judgement in Nigeria to stand- because it's never about who is right or wrong but whom the judges prefer to stay. I must say, Justice Abang is setting himself gradually as an unpopular Judge, same way we had CP/AIG Mba attach a bad name to his Police career.

The court is not a place for emotions, you all edge and present evidence and the court will rule based on what you plead and the facts you present. If you go to court to say your car was stolen, the court will not award you compensation for your television that was also stolen because you did not go to court for television.

Whether APC did in its plateau primaries is neither here nor there, because it was not challenged in court. What was challenged in court was what PDP did and it was challenged by PDP members not APC. If it wasn’t challenged by PDP, APC would not have have a leg to stand on.

This mess was created by PDP, they should own their mess.

The panel agreed with the appellant (Goshwe) that the failure of the PDP to comply with the order of the Plateau State High Court in Jos in suit no: PLD/J304/2020 between Bitrus B. Kaze & 11 ors vs the Peoples Democratic Party & 24 ors directing it to conduct valid ward, local governments and state congresses before nominating its candidates for the various elective posts and the Court of Appeal order in CA/J1/93/2021 was a breach of the law.

Emotions always run high in your family because you are from a family of bloody hypocrites. Please did you ask yourself the same question in 2019? How many PDP governors were sacked in 2019 aside Imo? Did you remember Zamfara and Bayelsa? why didn't you blame PDP then and ask if they had conscience?

Plateau politics since 2015 took a dangerous route. APC
deployed all manner of tricks to win Guber race but were rejected by the people because of Lalong's failures. So they began to brag that they have the courts and will take victory by hook or crook. So the judges know what they are doing and it's a threat to democracy.

Court is only bias when the judgement favours the ruling party.
why is the APPEAL COURT only sacking States that the opposition won?
Why can't it sack state like kaduna or Lagos?

.Timkuk v PDP...

The Appeal Court declined jurisdiction and struck out the suit.

Justice Tani Yusuf Hassan (the woman who sacked Agah Avia presided with Ali Andenyangtso & Olasumbo Goodluck all in concurrence.

Excerpts of the Judgement;

Augustine Timkuk v. INEC, PDP, Nannim Joseph, Gwott Yakubu Chocho, Fidelis Adara, John Adah & Amos Timbau
I agree with the Objector that the complaint of the Claimant is about the events, decisions and actions of the 2nd defendant/objector in conducting election for 3-man Adhoc Delegates on the 30th April, 2022 and appointment of Electoral Committee on the 19th May, 2022 and not about the conduct of the Primary Election for nomination of candidate for the Langtang North-North Constituency. Therefore the Claimant having not filed the Originating Summons later than 14 days from the 19th of May, 2022, the Suit is Statute Barred.

The complaint contained in reliefs 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 in the Originating Summons and paragraphs 5, 6, and 24 of the Affidavit in support are against third parties who are not parties to the Originating Summons and that robes this Honourable Court the Jurisdiction to entertain this suit.

I agree with the submission of Counsel to the 2nd defendant that the Repeated Congress of the 2nd defendant (PDP) was held on the 25th day of September, 2021 and monitored by the 1st Defendant (INEC) as evidenced by Exhibit R6. This was the reason the Claimant went ahead to participate in the primaries for the Langtang North-North State Constituency on the 22nd May, 2022.

I do not agree that the 2nd defendant is in disobedience of Exhibit AT3, AT4 and AT5.

I disagree with Learned Counsel to the Claimant/Objector that Exhibit R5 which is the Suit filed before High Court of Justice Plateau State is not on all fours with the present Suit, hence not abuse of Court process.

From the content of the Originating Summons the parties and the subject matter are the same. It is my view that this Suit as presently constituted is an abuse of Court process.

In conclusion, I find merit in the Notice of Preliminary Objection and agree with the 2nd and 3rd defendants/objectors that this Honourable Court lacks the Jurisdiction to entertain and determine the Originating Summons.

The Originating Summons is incompetent and is accordingly dismissed

INEC has no right to stop some from contesting under certain conditions, once the contestant meet INEC limited requirements, he will get the approval to contest, it's left for his opponent to raise some issues at the appropriate time
