I stopped watching Nigeria national team since the administration of Buhari when national politics creeped and rendered football useless..

Today, I took out time to see what has become of the once super eagles.

From the onset, the problem was obvious...

Nigeria is a fraud of a country, this continue to affect every sphere of our lives. It's quite clear that the people donning the super eagle jerseys are simply product of fraud..

Same thing evident in our political space where ethnic, nepotism and loyalty is above merit based performance..

It's glaring to see that a washed out player IWOBI was the best player with responsibility of coordination of our game.. Terrible.

Now don't get me wrong, Iwobi merit been in the team but not as our star playmaker, where are the Okochas, Kanus, Mikel Obis

Nigeria doesn't lack Talents...

- My second observation is that Nigeria is trying to bring diversity within the team. In football, that has to go to the gutters...
Even countries like france took the world cup twice with mostly coloured players.

If a particular ethnic group can give first 11 that will show our love for football by all means let it be.. Every nation seeks to use its best to achieve greatness, why is every thing different in Nigeria?

The Super Falcon performance of the world cup has many Igbos, they represented the flag with a star performance that newly took them to greatness..

That a Yourba man is the president doesn't mean they have to add in numbers to the national team...

My advise - Disban this fraud of a squad and start afresh..

In Europe, big nations finish off the less ones in football but Nigeria has a very low expected goal ratio.

We will never qualify for another world cup in this state..

Your own opinion but not facts

Super eagle problems do not start this year.
Let's check their performance since year 1999 till date, from the analysis you will know that your opinion is irrelevant to super eagle's problem.
Your analysis sound like Obidient member

Tribal bigotry. The best player in the falcons is Asisat Oshola she must be from Nnewi. Super eagle have been playing rubbish before Tinubu came in. In Football no champion for ever. Other African countries are developing and have caught up with us. Is African football our birth right

Government has no business in managing the Football Association. It is the Job of NFF and the government has no influence who becomes the leader of NFF. Nigeria was ban for two years when GEJ regime try to interfere in the Defunct NFA

Everyone but the players have been blamed, the players were just confused. Truth be told, African teams are getting stronger. The likes of SA, Namibia, Malawi and Zim can defeat you any day, times are changing

Here is another pessimistic idiotic tribalist. How many Yorubas are in the team that you started blaming a whole race for Eagle failure? Did they swear for you tribalists on Nairaland?

With 9 slots giving to Africa, there is no way eagle will not qualify for 2026 World Cup. It is good they did not lose today, all they need to do is to win as many more matches as possible.

Lesotho and Zimbabwe can be beating in the second legs, likewise others including South Africa. Only a short sighted person we say they won't qualify after just two matches.

There is no way eagles will not qualify, I guess it is our birthright abi. This is the issue with us, we always overrate our abilities until reality check hit on the wrong spot.
On paper we have dropped point against the two lowest ranked teams Lesotho and Zim. What scares me is the fact we haven't even faced our biggest tests Benin Republic now coached by Gernot Rohr and The Bafana Bafana who always have a score to settle with us.
I love been a realist than been an optimist, truth is we are in a pretty unsafe situation, thoze dropped points has put a dent on our hope.

The beginning of this mess started with pinnick, how he emerged and how he was given a free hand to do as he wished.

Today, that culture of impunity and carelessness had tricked down to the very core of the NFF and it will take serious leadership to get it right.

That was the beginning of the mess.

Pinnick emerged through dubious means, the government tried to take action and stopped half way.

A country, cant recall which took similar steps, was banned for 4 years after which they came back stronger.

It would have been a better path than the one we took, today the NFf is a cesspool of corruption and the officials do 'anyhow' because the government can't do anything.

Fortunately, football can be funny sometime. Those teams you thought can give us problem could be very easy at the end of the day. Remember how we all write them off during 2018 World cup qualification with Cameroon and Algeria on our way.

All the teams in that group will still lose points, if we are serious henceforth, I don't see why we can't make it.

It's always good to lower expectations on factors you can't control,so you won't feel too disappointed.
Our good headstart during the 2018 world cup qualifiers boosted our hope. An away win against Zambia and a home victory against Algeria followed by a resounding victory against Cameroon please don't even try to compare it with this lacklustered start to this campaign.
You assuming all the teams will drop points, what gives you the assurance that Nigeria won't drop any point as well because other teams will also be banking on that. Good wishes is not for Nigerians alone.😊
I hope we qualify but it is going to be quite difficult a journey for us.

They made it sound as if the Alaafin of Oyo was the main Super Eagles Striker

You're a mad man ! If the Super Eagles had been winning their recent games, idiots like you would have been saying it was the making of Igbo players only in the team ! Now that the team is in a terrible form, you now remember that there are Yorubas and others in the team too, werey !

Lol,hypocrite,so the Super Facons team that did well at the last world cup was made up of Igbo players only, right ? You igbos are terrible ! Perhaps, you should go and make your findings very well, there are as many Yorubas and other tribes in the Super Falcons as there are Igbos ! The Ashleighs, the Paynes, the Demehins, the Ajibades, the Ayindes, the Oshoalas,Yetunde Baloguns, Deborah Abioduns,Rofiat Imurans, etc of this world are all Yoruba if you care to know, useless tribal bigot !

This is one of the reasons why you igbos will continue to be relegated to the background in Nigeria; you're shallow thinkers with terrible ego issues !
