The rumble in the judiciary is as a result of judicial appointments being politicized and bastardized It's also a result of the judiciary being criminally captured by the current criminals in power |

Again I say if APC keep doubling down on state capture military coup would end it ... I don't wish for it, I pray it doesn't happen but that's the truth Especially when even with state capture the performance of the government is very very poor |
| Re: Supreme Court: Rumble In Judiciary Over Nomination Of Justices by thesicilian: 7:27am On Nov 20, 2023 |
OmoOlomo1:The justices should accept it like that. Because that's how they too came in. |

thesicilian:This one thinks it's about wish Lmaooo There are factors that leads to military coup and military coup can happen in any country even USA If the conditions are right Unpopular president, unpopular policy, very poor performance, bad economics policies and the final one inability to pay salaries The the final part is just matter of time... The economics crazy dance Tinubu and his bunch of half baked economics team are doing would push naira pass 2500 in 4 years, workers would demand increased wage he would agree but can't pay |

-Executive: Lawless and corrupt. -Legislature: Impunity, lawlessness and corrupt. -Judiciary: Vestigial appendage of corrupt executive and Legislature. The NJC, NBA, Body of Benchers, Council of legal education and other judicial stakeholders saw this capturing, politicisation, and corruption of the judiciary coming a long time ago but played the ostrich. Now they are waking up to a reality that the horse have long bolted put of the stable. They cul-de-sac they dug for themselves is a one-way but no way out tunnel. It will consume all of them. |

garfield1:Name one person in Tinubu team with a better CV than madam Oby... Stop running You don't know what macro economics is abi? I have said it that corruption and nepotism is not even my biggest issue with APC... My biggest issue is fundamentally APC have zero idea how development works APC are fundamental socialists and corrupt ones at that To them build infrastructure development will follow ( obi and osibanjo argument in 2019 comes to mind) APC have no single idea who development works zero they just want to build infrastructure then wonder why it's not yielding the results |

Another issue is that virtually all the Justices have their children recruited recently as judges of the lower courts, meaning that Nigeria judiciary is now a family affair. A relation who applied for the job of a Judge was told to go and bring recommendation letter from a governor or a Justice and he has a PhD in law and he was not taken, only the children of politically persons were appointed as judges, when the topic was posted here, I saw Sukanmi (the unknown publisher) who says he gives Free Stuffs on this platform defending it that as long as they have the minimum qualifications they are entitled to the job, he can't see beyond APC 🤔 |

Anyway God will judge the judges. I'm not even in support of any political side/party. My own is people are going through alot and the government should do it's best to alleviate the sufferings of the people. Cost of living is up... Whatever party you are, you can't pretend to say , Nigerians are not going through hard times now. It's so bad right now. Pls let's stop using our different political sides or tribal group to fight ourselves. The Common man is suffering, due to the policies of those politicians at the top. |
