izzou:Otti lost lots of funds in previous elections and some of those funds were sourced from private individuals who he made promises to. This is the reality of many politicians and they try to settle these obligations by overstating budgets. This is the reason why I didn't trust them with our subsidy money because they care about themselves first. At least, Otti will be better than Ikpeazu and I am sure people in that state share that belief. But while we blame our leaders, we must also look at ourselves. We are a reflection of the people who lead us cos they after all are selected amongst us. Corruption in Nigeria goes from bottom to the top. Nigerians are mostly dishonest and like cheating. I remember of a contractor who was paid 100k daily to level a road. He hired a caterpillar and paid the man 50k for a days job. The man in turn work for few hours and stop hoping to collect another 50k the next day. They did this until the governor found out and stopped construction on the road. |

Realmrsean:The day the impeachment failed, this guy came out to make pronouncements about sacking all the LGA Chairman, the entire PDP bigwigs in the state are against him, sim is trying to pacify them to forgive him, out of his desperation to be speaker and governor after sim, he burnt down the house of assembly, even if they are able to reach a common ground, the edison guy is dead Politically and sim will do just a term, last week wike invited 27 state House of representatives members to Abuja, this guy has just 4 on his side and 2 out of the four are members representing bonny and opobo, he's in a mess because sim is unwilling to fight, apart from the noise makers in the state and the opposition that hates wike, the PDP bigwigs that worked for sims emergence are solidly behind wike. This fight is coming at a time when wike still has access to public fund |

This is a lengthy post. So, it's not meant for the mentally lazy ones. Acquiring the History of Your Culture: The Origin of Africa as a Case Study For a people to develop and move forward, there are some basic things many of them have to get right. These basic requirements include knowing their history (who their ancestors and forebears are) and engaging in philosophy and science. If many people in a region don't know their history, backwardness and poverty will be recurring decimals in such a region. When you want to learn who your ancestors and forebears are as a people and the specific place you originated from, you can use various methods. The most reasonable starting point is to consult the elders in your culture, then read books written by the indigenes themselves (your fellow natives), not those written by outsiders. This factor is highly important because it's often the natives of a place that know their history and everything about that place deeply. Then, you consult books written by outsiders (other people not belonging to your culture). If you don't have writers and historians native to your culture, then that culture is really pitiable because it means your culture is endangered and could die anytime soon. That speaks volume about the level of collective intelligence of such a culture. There are also other common ways to learn your history and preserve your cultural heritage and traditions. Even if you combine many of these well-known methods, many times, it's difficult or impossible to know some specific aspects of your history. For instance, most Africans don't know the origin of the word, 'Africa', and this is partly due to the damaging effects of slavery and colonialism by the whites and Arabs. But this should be common knowledge among Africans. If you don't know your history as a people and aren't connected to your ancestors and forebears, you can't grow and prosper as a people. It's reality, not a curse. To know the origin of Africa, Otem is the best source I've come across today, especially due to his use of scientific methods in acquiring and teaching histories. Here's one of the accounts of the origin of Africa (the history of Africa) according to Otem: "Afrika was the son of Afri, who was born in the 101st year of the homo sapiens era. Now Afrika was born in the northern side of the continent now called Africa. And the interpretation of his name was 'the soul of Afri'. Now Afrika grew in wisdom and knowledge. And when he was the age of thirty, he slept and awoke with a new language. And the language is that which is now called Berber. And Afrika spoke the language in the hears of the people until they began to learn it. And they wondered how he came about the language. Now the words of the Berber language were seven hundred and fourteen initially. And the people learnt all of them and spoke to each other with the language, such that they soon began to speak it naturally. Now Afrika was worshipped as a god because of his knowledge of poetry, proverbs, deep speeches and songs. And he told the people hundreds of wise words and proverbs. And Afrika said, it is only a people that are without knowledge that will sell the heritage of their land. The son is the continuity of the father upon the earth. A son who has disowned his father has killed his father upon the earth. But a son who tells his children and children's children the histories of his fatherland has preserved the soul of his father on the earth. A generation that do not care to know the history of his ancestors is a failed generation. But a generation which is set to learn and study the history of his fathers is a generation of the blessed people. Love unites the people, but war scatters them. Therefore let all the lands where this language shall be spoken be united as one. This language and this tongue is brought upon us for unity and this unity shall prevail. Afrika went about in those days to speak of peace. And all the lands where he went learnt the language which he spoke to them, being now called the Berber. Now Afrika went to Egypt and became a friend of Khonnum. And Khonnum learnt the language which he brought to them, saying, it is necessary to teach my people this language for the unity of many lands. So the Berber language became the language which was spoken by many lands across the North of Africa in those days. And they had no difficulty trading among themselves all the days of Khonnum and Afrika even till ten centuries after." Book of Universal History, pg. 1133 When learning history, one doesn't learn it from a single source. So, this is Otem's account. Are there other corroborating sources for the claims in this account made by other Africans and non-Africans (note I said 'Africans' first, not whites or Arabs, which is the usual practice by most Africans when they want to learn their history)? I don't know how a person can lay claim to intelligence when it's foreign people they love to learn their own history from. Are there any evidence in support of Otem's claims? So, if one researches this account, there are actually several corroborating evidence for a number of the claims. Those well-versed in history would know of the Afri tribe in North Africa (around Tunisia, Algeria, and the likes). Also, if your knowledge of the history of religions is sound, especially the history of ancient African religions like those of the ancient Egyptians, you'd know that 'ka' is a concept in the spirituality/religion of the ancient Egyptians meaning 'soul'. There are many references for this. So, the origin of the word, 'Africa' which Otems call 'Afrika' or 'the soul of Afri' ( 'Afri' + 'ka' ) is native to this continent itself from the name of Afri (and his son, Afrika), who are ancestors of modern-day Africans. So, it wasn't the whites that named Africa like the ignorant ones that don't know their left from right often say. 'Afrika' is native to this continent and had been in use thousands of years before the whites invaded Africa. However, the system of writing in many of the languages of Africa today came from the whites (mainly Old Latin). Before the whites came, our forefathers had invented their own systems of writing. Thousands of years ago, the ancient Egyptians had established their hieroglyphs (similar to our emojis and emoticons today) as ancient Egypt is the origin of civilization. The Igbos had the Nsibidi writing system. Yorubas, too, had their own which became lost thousands of years ago. Other native cultures of Africa also have/had their own indigenous writing systems. Colonialism and slavery played a key role in the lost of these indigenous African writing systems. So, Africans already had established ways of communicating among themselves and keeping records before the whites and Arabs came. Key ancestors of Africans such as Afri and Afrika had invented ways for their people to communicate and write (keep records) long, long before the unfortunate contact of Africans with the whites and Arabs. So words like 'Afri' and 'Afrika' had their native ways containing indigenous symbols which Africans used to represent them before the whites brought their Latin characters currently in use today. Therefore, the origin of Africa is 'Afri' and 'Afrika', who are the ancestors of present-day Africans. That's a fact. Africa wasn't named by the whites. To learn history, a reasonable person focuses on their roots (their ancestors, forebears, elders who are still alive in their community), while the dull ones learn from the Bible and Quran. If you want to know the origin of your people, you learn from the source itself: Your ancestors, forebears, and elders who are still alive in your communities. Then, you use things like science (archeology, paleontology) and other sources to corroborate/verify what you've learnt. How do you learn about your origin from your ancestors and forebears who have left this realm? By being connected to your roots, learning about your ancestors and forefathers, and partaking in festivals celebrating those people. If you're well-connected to your ancestors and forebears, this has a lot of benefits. Some of your ancestors had invented great technologies in the past. For instance, the tech for time travel had been built by some African geniuses in the past eras. There's a lot you can learn from your ancestors and forebears, who are the gifted people of the extinct human eras. If you know your ancestors well enough, you'll establish a communication link with them. There's a specific set of codes that you can use to communicate with the dead. You can see these codes like phone numbers. But really, they're simply frequencies of heartbeats and breath that will connect you to the realm where your ancestors and forebears are at the moment and communicate with them. It's code, meaning the specific knowledge (the frequencies and how to tune them to achieve your aim) is between you and your ancestors. They're the ones to teach you because it also depends on factors like genetics (your lineage) and others. This is due to the subjective nature of this mode of communication. However, the objective aspect works based on the principles of waves (especially electromagnetic waves), superposition, and coherence. This support system is the secret of some of the great people (scientists, footballers, business magnates, etc.) you're seeing around the world. The wise person jealously keeps totems (statues and the likes) serving as remembrance of their ancestors and forebears, so that when they need to connect to those people in times of need, they can do so easily and benefit from such support system offered by them. But the foolish person either destroys any link to his ancestors and forebears so that he becomes weak, vulnerable and easy prey to charlatans who call themselves pastors and alfas, or he starts regarding the totems as idols (objects of worship) engaging in folly. Communicating with the dead involves the use of certain waves (similar to radio waves), which are currently unknown to scientists but will be discovered in the coming years. No need to go into the physics and math of these waves here. If you get some information from your ancestors/forefathers (or any source generally), that doesn't make it the absolute truth. You still need to subject it to tests of scrutiny and logic like I just did with Otem's account of the origin of Africa. After that, you'll go with what the available evidence and/or logic supports. |

I know these posts are above the IQ of the morons that mentioned me yesterday and today to laugh. Some people are just irredeemably stupid. All these is too much for their single digit IQ. If these ones take a course in Quantum Mechanics and Advanced Algebra, dem go run enter market the next day. But these are just some of the knowledge that the less than 0.1% of the human population that achieved feats like time travel in the past era had. Ask the dumbos how the languages they're speaking all around came about? They don't know. Why did houses in the typical village settings look similar traditionally, especially in West Africa (they've an underlying pattern) and those in the typical village settings in China traditionally (they've also have an underlying pattern)? They don't know. So many things the mumunis don't know and they don't even know they don't know. Lols. When elderly people and those with sound intellect are discussing, kids and the dumb ones will only be making jest all about. It's not good to be this dumb in life. |

Some posts are lengthy. That means they're meant for the tiny percentage of the human population. If you're not among that small percentage, it means your IQ level is below the average (of that class). So, don't waste your time whenever you see my posts here because you're not simply intelligent enough to comprehend issues I discuss here. |
