Some judges, possibly after drinking ogogoro, just cancel over 100k votes because some electoral officer failed to stamp some sheets

And why should the winner bear the punishment for the negligence of INEC?

I don't want to dasi that Kano matter. That mumu gov started demolition as he just entered as gov. It's senseless to demolish a roundabout cos there's a cross sign there. That's religious politicizing. Is plus/cross+ sign not an arithmetic sign? Will he cancel it in calculators used in Kano or in mathematics in Kano state?
He should v at least repainted that roundabout if he's so hurst with the sign. Secondly, the builder was a fellow Muslim so why was he crying? 😭
Now, he should face the ballistic missiles of APC.

Those 165k unsigned Ballot papers aren't mistakes of the electoral officers, they are results of election malpractices by massive thumb printing of Ballot Papers.Of course the unsigned ballots gave them out.

This man talks nonsense most of the time. Is it a coincidence that all the unsigned ballot papers had votes cast for NNPP?

What I noticed about all these social commentators cum activist is they always say we believe in the rule of law but when the law strikes against their will, they will call for a shift in goal post.
I would like to read Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) commentaries on Nassarawa, Zamfara and Bayelsa rulings to balance the equation.

Lawyer Falana, I disagreed with him on this, was he not the one that claimed ignorance is not an excuse in the court of law some times ago. What is the work of parties' agents at the poling unit, collation centers?

Falana is making selectivity of facts on justice, he is placing emotional argument over the rules and regulations on amended electoral acts of INEC, which unexpected to becoming from lawyer of his caliber.

Blame NNPP for their failure to protect their votes effectively and other lapses that caused shortcomings of the party electoral victory.

Why was Olusegun Agagu sacked as the winner of the 2007 gubernatorial election?

Why was Ngige removed as the governor of Anambra state?

Why was Celestine Omehia removed as governor of Rivers state?

Why was Segun Oni removed as the governor of Ekiti state?

Why did APC lose Zamfara state elections in 2019?

Why didn't APC have any candidate in Rivers state in 2019?

We should stop heating up the polity because some persons were removed as governors.

If the process that brought them in was faulty, then they should be removed.

The huge number of ballots involve in this situation makes it suspicious to me.I don't see how 165k ballots can be error from electoral officers.

It can be sir, From the electoral law if the ballot paper is not stamp and sign by the presiding officer on the election day, it make the vote invalid. That's why presiding officer is always told to sign and stamp the ballot paper only when he or she is about to give it to the voters.

So if some hooligans came to hijacked the ballot papers and start tumb printing on it he/she will just leave them for his own security purposes and cooperate with them while those illiterate does not know that the failure of the presiding officer to sign and stamp their ballot papers make all their votes invalid.

I think Femi Falana should be cautioned. He's misinforming the public and I'll just give 2 instances here.

1. Plateau State.

The issue here is not about PDP primary election as Falana want the public to believe. It was about Sponsoring. PDP failed to conduct Congress in 185 Wards, 17 Councils, and State before going ahead to pick delegates for its primary despite Plateau state High Court judgement in 2021 directing it to do so. Therefore, the Appeal Court ruled that bcoz PDP failed to comply with the Court judgement, PDP doesn't have structure or Officers or Executives in the 185 Wards, 17 Councils, and State level.

2. Kano State.

The 165,663 ballots that were not Stamped, Dated, and Signed were products of rigging. It's mischievous for Falana to claim that voters were being punished for the failure of INEC officials to do their job. It's not true. INEC officials did their works, it's NNPP that owe Nigerians explanation how it came about those 165,663 votes. We all know the voting procedure of presenting yourself on the day of election, BVAS will confirm and capture you, ballot papers stamped signed and dated by the Presiding Officer, then you proceed to the voting point. Falana should know this procedure for good if he doesn't know. Falana never think deeply to ponder on why all the 165,663 votes that are in contention belong to one political party, NNPP. So, those votes were surreptitiously and fraudulent smuggled into the boxes. Over 2m votes were recorded in that election and the only 165,663 votes that were not Stamped Dated and Signed were for NNPP only. We're not fools Falana.

I think he is not denying the possibility that the 165k votes and voters do not exist yet wants to blackmail the judiciary to go procure and assign imaginary non-existing voters to the 165k thumb printed unofficial ballots.

The Judiciary should not fall for any blackmail , the politicians will not get away with playing games and then recruiting opinion moulders to blackmail the Judges. It failed during the PEPT sittings, it will fail again.
Let everyone do the right thing and when you lose, don't be a sore loser.

PDP destroyed itself by taking itself to court in Plateau state yet still want to blame and blackmail the judiciary. The Judges should ignore all of them and punish the politicians who break the law and don't play by the rules. Check my signature for free stuffs!
It is clear to the unbiased mind that the mechanism for proving fake or non- existing votes is to prove overvoting in the PUs. How do you do that? Simple it's a question of accredited voters versus total votes cast. So the unbiased mind should ask if overvoting was established in the PUs where those 165k votes came from. Unmarked ballot papers are recognised by our laws. Any doubt about it is expected to be cleared by the returning officer who is expected to write a report detailing why he's rejecting those ballots. In the absence of such report, it is assumed that the RO is satisfied with the use of those ballot papers.
That's the position of EA as it concerns ballot papers. Mind you, the word used by EA is "official mark" and not "signature, stamp and date". Where EA explicitly requires signature, stamp and date is on the result forms and it is clearly written there. For ballot papers, the EA explicitly requires them to have serial numbers.

Falana is just trying to be politically correct, he knows the truth but just wants to be seen defending democracy. Sometimes the opposition accuses him of being supportive of the APC so this is just one of those moments to appear neutral

When PDP got it in Zamfara state in 2019, it was okay.

When PDP got it in Bayelsa state in 2020, it was okay.

When supreme court stopped APC from presenting candidates in Rivers State general election in 2019, it was okay.

He is not passing misinformation. Judicial precedent is on the side of the argument he's making.
In your 1 above, one will wonder what business it is of APC whether PDP conducted Congresses or not. SC precedent will refer to APC as a meddlesome interloper

For 2, SC precedent is that elections are assumed to have held freely and fairly in accordance with EA until proven otherwise. In this case, unmarked ballot papers are allowed by s63(2) and the RO is expected to write a report of he's rejecting such ballots. Since the RO accepted them and there's no report, it is assumed that those ballots were validly casted. Note that there's no evidence it is only NNPP that had unmarked ballot casts. More importantly, the 165k ballots were from different PUs in different Wards all over the state. So it is preposterous to think NNPP went from PU to PU all over a state controlled by APC stuffing ballot boxes with unmarked papers and different polling officers and ROs accepted them. C'mon

Falana missed out the part where It said that Hoodlums attacked the Polling Units and brought the unsigned undated unstamped ballots which the hoodlums forced Polling Officers to accept at gunpoint but which they refused to sign for
and which there was no BVAS accreditation for .
The Ballots were different from those that were used for Election in those Polling Units
