Well, aside the banters, I agree with you Sha. I have seen Ibo women form associations in even the tiniest of American cities. They will travel long distances to go and dance at events just for the fun of it. We invited them for our Yoruba association Christmas party last year. They stole the show dancing to flavour's song.

They most likely teach new members, likely younger or new wives, the Yoruba culture, and how not to offend their in-laws and the tribe.
