All the news you have been reading about Lagos, Abia, or Osun, are all for expenditure already made withing a 3month period of Q3 2023.

It is the 2023 budget performance that is being reviewed for different quarters that is already concluded for this year.

With one quarter to the end of the year, presidential portraits are still line items in the budget. Can you guarantee that they were not line items in previous quarters?

But there are solutions. The electorate still has the power to recall its leaders who fail to properly represent voters. The electorate still has the power to vote out poorly performing politicians. That's the way it works elsewhere and it works pretty well. We haven't explored those options the way we should have.

Good, so what happened?, did LASG succeed?. Like i said, no state can override a federal law. FOI made it possible for Government records to be publicly scrutinized long time ago, Obidense ragtag movement only came into existence in 2023. If anyone would deserve the flowers, it'd be GEJ.
