Take note of the word "Favour from The Lord". Why is reverse the case in most marriages? Instead of Favour, na Labour coupled with Hardship. What you thought should be a thing of Joy is now something else.

1. Because God cursed marriage in Genesis 3 vs 16 and God never changed His mind about His judgment since it is final.

2. Take note of the fact that God equally made clear the following in Scripture

□ He shows favor/mercy to whomever He will
□ He pours out His favor/mercy daily on even the wicked and ungrateful

Imagine a known witch in your village or even a native doctor came up to you and said something about "tapping glory" from you, would you not think to defend yourself from such a person?
