I think the issue with Nigeria is with a divided and confused electorate or voters who do not know their rights and who are unwilling to unite and take the rights.

Nigerians are partly the cause of this problems as they do not know how to use their votes to elect credible leaders.

They are also divided along tribal and religious lines.

Today, many yorubas voted Tinubu but they are suffering alongside with other Nigerians.

Tribal allegiance did not save them from the harsh realities of bad choices they made.

This problems is in the southern part of Nigeria but it is very worse in the Northern states of Nigeria where the literacy level is very low.

Nigeria vote leaders on primordial sentiments which also include leaders that we share the same religion with and or leaders that belongs to our ethnic tribes.

For example an Hausa and Fulani man will prefer his kinsmen who are muslims.

The same with the yorubas and the Igbos.
