This is the delusion about Obidients that we have been telling you. Obi won 2023 election? Where did his votes come from? grin grin grin
Lol, every unbiased and informed Nigerian knows that Obi won 2023 election. Obi won SS, SE, Lagos, Abuja, Nasarawa, Plateau etc. He also won in Benue and Taraba and got significant votes in urban centers across North.

Obi won most states despite INEC rigging him out in Rivers, Benue etc where he actually won.

You're the dishonest and deluded one if you continue to deny the facts.

he will still have majority of votes from the South just as he did in 2023. he will win some north central states as he did in 2023.
the core north wont vote him not just because of their hatred for the igbos but because they want to grab power in 2031.

if election is contested 100times in the south, Obi will defeat Tinubu

but after what we saw in Imo and Kogi, it doesnt matter whether u are popular or not. those that control the resources and the security will always have their way.
no need to kill yourself. just bribe INEC, give them results to announce. simple
If na play stop am.

Obi or any Igbo man presently can not be voted as president.

Is it hausa/Fulani they call names that will vote him or Yoruba u abuse everyday.

read the comment again.

did i mention any hausa state for u?
the only place he won in yoruba land in 2023 was Lagos and that was due to many factors. the core northerners didnt vote him. the core yorubas didnt vote him according to result release by INEC
so what is ur point?

This is the last comment I will make on this conversation.
Like I said earlier I did a thorough study and research on the three presidential candidate, I couldn't find the idea candidate. It's high time we stop voting for the lesser evil, that's what elections in Nigeria has been for years.
The party through corrupt primaries controls who we vote or not. For me most elections in Nigeria are won at primaries level. A perfect example was in 2015, PDP brought out Atiku as thier flag bearer, while APC retained Buhari, many Nigerians voted because theirs no choice other than to vote, it was a lesser evil scenario, once an evil is presented as the party bearer we are left with no choice than to sieve the less evil among them. Let me ask you a simple question, if Obi had not contested for the last election, would you have a presidential candidate ?
We need a total restructuring of our electoral reforms, how candidate are nominated right from primaries. They should just be two political party with clear cut principles and objectives, so we can hold them responsible if they go against any.
I do not have any problem with Obi, Atiku or Tinubu, they all had mixed past as former leaders, but with the same regalia of most Nigeria politicians. If you claim Obi to be a saint void of any past wrong doing, it's left to and your opinion, not mine. But if you really want us to discuss each candidate in detail, send me PM , let's talk maturely.

I agree with most of the things you said here. Yes, party primaries keep bringing out terrible candidates that leave Nigerians between the rock and a hard place. In 2015, I was forced to choose between Buhari and Atiku, two lacklustre candidates that had nothing tangible to offer. However, Obi's emergence in 2023 was fortuitous, almost Devine. Someone like Obi will never win primaries in parties like PDP and APC and the reason is corruption. Obi won't compromise and bribe party delegates with dollars.

I also agree that only a revolution can bring about progressive democracy and not the nonsense we have now. But after studying Nigeria critically, I realized that such revolution will never happen. In fact, it's easier for Nigeria to fight another civil war than to have a revolution that the masses will unanimously push for. Corrupt politicians will immediately play the religious and tribal sentiments, and Nigerians will change course from fighting the politicians to fighting themselves. We saw how #Endsars ended. Tinubu and his men in Lagos changed the narrative and claimed Igbos want to destroy Lagos and yorubaland. Unfortunately, many Nigerians can't reason critically, so they're like zombies in the hands of these wicked politicians.

I saw Obi's emergence as the closest Nigeria will get towards emancipating itself. Why? Because someone like Obi that emerged with the masses support will do everything to perform, knowing that if he looses the masses support, he is gone. It would have brought in a new dimension in our polity whereby it's the masses that will determine who rules them and not party agents or cabals. Such a situation would unleash the Nigeria of our dreams. But we lost it. However, time is running out for Nigeria. Countries that fail to evolve, end up imploding.

My friend nobody rigged in the East for Obi... You all think everyone must be dubious like you guys and don't want to believe that pure love for obi gave him that large margin of victory in the South East. Obi DIDN'T RIG IN THE SOUTH EAST!.

where dey had party agents like in River state, didnt Wike still do the magic for APC?

party agents can be bought likeness INEC, if we dont reform the electoral act, we are heading nowhere.
Wike template was what was replicated in IMO, Kogi, Lagos, Edo and most part of the country and it is already established as a template.
what happened in the field doesnt matter anyone. Parties just pay INEC to write results for them.
WIKE has show them that u dont need to snatch ballot box anymore. stay in govt house, write results and give it to INEC to announce and nothing will happen.

i am not participating in 2027 election, except all the opposition merge and show the willingness to fight APC blood for blood
Gbam!

A straight up contest between Peter Obi and Tinubu will be the easiest election in the history of Nigeria. The election would have been over by 10am on Election Day. Peter Obi will be massacred.

Tactics wey even small pikin of yesterday go dey laugh on... Their what's app admin has ran out of creative words to tarnish Obi's reputation. They are all bunch of jokers. Let them continue from now till eternity with their rubbish but we same Nigerians know the truth and will continue to laugh at their stupidity, foolery, insincerity and corrupt ways of life.

Pure love or tribalism.

With his glaring failure as Governor.

Nobody rigged and other party were scoring zero in the S.E.

Result sheet signed by party agent had zero vote for some parties.

So Apc and PDP agent voted LP.

You have spoken well brother. I love the way you explain things this time around, it can easily convince a neutral like me. My point is let's clearly see the portfolio and objectives of the candidate will intend to pick to lead us, we can demonstrate that with love and openness

Sadwaste:
Lol, you really must be counting on INEC rigging massively again. Although, that will likely happen except the national assembly is able to reform it and make it independent while ensuring that technology such as BVAS and IREV becomes mandatory.

In a free and fair election today, Tinubu can only win in SW.
Unfortunately OBI lost and closed his chance of ever ruling as President.

That singular act of 2022.

There is a reason some people wanted Atiku instead of Tinubu, not becos Atiku is good ,but he is a sure oath for OBI presidency.

Obi ran with emotions and now it's path is closed.

He is 60yrs now.

When is likely South east turn? Let's calculate..

Tinubu will do 8 yrs... no story
North will do 8 yrs... no story
South ....South south will be supported by Yorubas becos of Amechi and Wike.

If that works...that is another 8yrs
Power back to North...8yrs
South East will take it this time.

That is 32yrs

Obi will be 92yrs by then.

So this thing called elections it's by alignment n futurist positioning.

Tinubu will NEVER allow a free and fair elections.

This is a master politicians, not Buhari or Jonathan who are not core politicians.

Atiku is the other core politician who could.match him...

But that door is closed now.

So for OBI...I don't see any clear path.

Except a miracle happens.

And in Nigeria, political miracles seldom happens.

What you said about Wike is synonymous to all political parties in their strong holds, what wike did to PDP and LP is that he has been doing to APC in previous elections and LP supporters who were PDP then applauded him , I wonder why they cry wolf now when things went the other direction.

Nigerians needs to criticize evil when it’s evil but that’s not the case here , when it goes your way in Nigeria you call it grace or luck if it turn sour we call it corruption. Wike’s name was accredited to him in 2019 election when he did Abracadabra for PDP in rivers same people who named him are crying today because he’s no longer working for them .
Right from the run-up to the 2015 elections.

He used raw violence to make everyone cower, used the police - one CP Mba, the military, thugs, just about everyone to achieve his objective.

I remember one article in around 015-2016 'Rivers of blood' just to tell you the kind of moster the man is but people were hailing him then, because it was against someone that was not within their ranks.

If Inec officials are not taught a bitter lesson before 2027 tinubu would win again.
These guys find new ways to rig election
The only region where rigging was visible to the blind during the last presidential election is south east. PDP got 7 million or so votes. Its first subsidiary, LP got 6 million and another subsidiary of PDP got 1 million. Imagine all these useless votes for PDP alone! So, cut INEC some slack

You're the one who has refused to understand basic English due to your hate.

Of course, it was INEC that rigged the election for Tinubu. Everyone with an open mind and who is well informed knows this fact already. Obi won Rivers State landslide but INEC claimed Tinubu won Rivers State. Obi won Benue state but INEC also rigged it for Tinubu. Same thing happened in Akwa Ibom etc.

Continue deceiving yourself by saying you're not Yoruba and how you've never supported anyone. Yet you're so hypocritical and biased.
I am not ready to join others in your meaningless arguments
BUT it's funny how you igbos all over nairaland and indeed the country are always shouting " your hate for the Igbos".
Everywhere we see and read all y'all derogatory comments about the Yoruba and even the fulanis even way before the elections.
The only time you people wrote something remotely nice was during the last election when you wanted the Yoruba and the fulani votes
Even you in particular "sadwaste"
your moniker really shows the abundant love you have in your heart not to mention your comments here

I don't understand why you all are condemning the exact same thing you all are guilty of.

At least, accept you have hate too for the other tribes with your full chest

Obi actually won several Northern states, particularly in the middle belt. He also got significant votes in urban centers across muslim North. He achieved that with an unknown party without structure! Should he be in a party that has structure like PDP, it would be game over!

If he gets full backing from North and INEC is prevented from rigging massively again, then Tinubu is out.
lol he won 3 states out of 7 middle belt states but got nothing from the core north....the state he got the highest vote in the north was kaduna with 21%....followed by gombe with 5% the rest 1% or 0.....na that one wan give Tinubu game over.....you say if Inec is kept from rigging but when he obi was getting 95% all over the SE you didn't say anything.....no politician anywhere in the world can draw that much approval unless say na jazz.....just dey there dey deceive yourself.
