Lagos as former federal capital territory of Nigeria from 1900- 1991 represents the beauty of one Nigeria. Lagos belongs to no particular tribe but to every Nigerian irrespective of tribe, religion , gender or state . You cannot say you believe in one Nigeria and still say in another breathe another Nigerian should not buy land and develop house in Lagos state . It is hypocrisy and impossible ..You cannot tell a person where to live in Nigeria once they have their money and somebody willing to sell land . Go to lekki, epe etc and see the massive developments worth billions going on as I type this from people with money . You can’t stop a moving ocean. Obasa and co as Nigerian politician is just play with the brains of some shallow minded folks. If you are tired of one Nigeria, fight for Yoruba nation and be ready to spill your blood as that comes with it but for now it remains one Nigeria and Lagos is part of it |

step1:Indeed. Virtually all Yorubas now realize we have indulged Igbos, a very feudal and problematic people worldwide, too much in the SW in general. Obasa officially warned them, only recently, of what is to come. Yet trust the Nzogbu Nzogbu people to always be caught lacking and found wanting in the end trying to fight officially-mandated legislative and executive power. "To be forewarned is to be forearmed" is an adage always lost on Igbos till they get in trouble to then be playing victim. Yorubas always best them because we prefer using official powers and channels while they carry stick crudely dey do Nzogbu Nzogbu everywhere. Even though it was not targeted at them, what were Igbos able to do over the house demolitions across Lagos recently other than cry and curse Yorubas? They will learn the hard way no wahala. https://www.thecable.ng/obasa-lagos-isnt-no-mans-land-well-make-laws-to-protect-indigenes-property/amp

ValarDoharis:You called the divisive and crude divide-and-conquer garbage you pulled out of your ass a question? Which Yoruba tells you he has a problem the household or State a Lagos Yoruba Governor comes from. I can't blame you as you are beyond redemption since your land of origin is so clannish that Bianca Ojukwu was disgracefully told she cannot run for office because she is not from Anambra. Your mistake is assuming others are like you and that theu will embrace the divide-and-conquer crudeness that is in your DNA and forcing you to discriminate even to hamlet level. Chinedu, like you, thought he could 'famz' some Yorubas talking divisively about "real Lagos Yorubas" without knowing he was just exposing himself as a typical Igbo to be avoided because he causes Yerooba muslim" type of rancour, anarchy and division everywhere he goes from Lagos to Accra, through Johannesburg on wards to Nairobi, Indonesia etal. |

Agbaje who is from Lagos was called Igbo so that Ambode from another state can be voted instead. Gbadebo whose ancestry has been known in Lagos for hundreds of yrs was called an Igbo man so that someone from another state can be voted instead. Same with Doherty. You guys are using tribalism and Igbo hate to cheat indigenous Lagosians TopBanter: |

You thinking of building only one house probably bungalow. Come to Abraham Adesanya axis and see how many estates with over 50 buildings per estate are being built by Yorubas to keep igbos as tenant till your death. Keaton: |

ValarDoharis:Lol. You are now the 'Voltron' of "indigenous Yorubas" we are to believe you love sincerely same as your kinsmen have suddenly transformed into the biggest admirers and lovers of Northerners with how you all seem keen to protect them lately against Tinubu and Yoruba "marginalisation". You people are funny and the most annoying thing is that you think people don't see through you, to discern your ulterior motives, when you all come out with the crap you post here daily. |

You foolish Igbos no de tire. Yorubas are not bonding against poverty but you leave you wretched Ipobland land to seek opportunities here in same Yoruba land flowing with milk n honey. ObereEmma: |

Alaigbo:There is nothing like Yorouba land. Its called Nigeria. Stop behaving as if it was Yoroubas that built lagos to the level it is. Morethan 5 Nigeria Leaders made lagos their abode for years. Lagos is a national treasure. You guys can keep lying to your selves till eternity. |

plaindealer:Biafra ideology and drive is what Yoroubas cannever understand or achieve in a world to come. Its not easy keeping a 60yrs old light on while rebuilding from scratch Zero. If that Hunger is an organ in the body, you guys don't have it. I can see how failures like you leave your enclaves to drag what was once a national site to seem like a village build by yoroubas. You will be ashamed to see the so-called indigenes in there so-called estate living like tout and beggars. Na people wey no sabi una dey think say una get anything for so-called Lagos. If Lagos develop x100 tomorrow, those migrant you hate will have the best out of it. Keep deceiving yourself. Lie lies in your dna as truth is something that happens to your people and never what you will hear from their mouth. When you see a Yorouba man, you see truth in 3D, but when he opens his mouth, you could think he isn't aware of his own body. |

ValarDoharis:Don't worry about that, we are not complaining abi the Oba of Lagos and the chiefs are no longer indigenes? Did the PDP or ACD candidate complain to igbos. Again Yorubas look beyond cheap popularity. We love our brothers from Osun, Ogun, Ondo, Kwara, Benin republic, Bini, Togo, Kwara and Kogi. Anyone of them can contest and get the support of us Indigenes. One thing you people need to understand is a state is an artifical border sent by some people, we are united by cultural heritage . |

Greed of some ethnic groups have been the problem of Nigeria right from day 1. While Awolowo, Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello and co. were planning on ways to make their regions stand out, likes of Nnamdi Azikiwe were devising means to seize power and take all the resources in Nigeria for themselves alone and that was what they did after the first bloody Igbo coup of 15th January, 1966 that shattered the dreams of a united Nigeria. These same people have refused to learn that you don't go about scheming evil agaist others lest you get your hands burnt in the process.. They always take others for a fo0l thinking they have sense and can outsmart others. There is a clear map that shows Yorubas terriritory but Igbos from far away lands across the river Niger will come and be contesting and arguing over which and what is Yoruba territory simply because we were all lumped together in one country by the British. The earlier our Yoruba leaders start putting a stop to illegality of mass migration of ingrates and unrepentant enemies into Yorubaland, the better for us. Let Yorubaland be enjoyed by Yorubas and the other sub groups in Western region, not atohunrinwas 'awon ati oko wa ba ile je' who can't stay and develop their own region. |
