Hmm you're very right. They have been waiting there to catch those guys coming late from the club, knowing fully well that they have money with them or widraw tru their apps. However they might still police using fake registered number to defraud their tagets. When you trace the number it will lead you to nothing.
So the onus is the net work providers who did not do their job very well.
If there is anybody to be sued, they should be the one.

People are really messed up that they don't even know their rights anymore. Many believed that teachers beating them while in primary and secondary schools made them better as adults

Years back, I gave my driver 15k to buy diesel, dashed him 10k. He left. Few minutes later I drove out, saw the truck at the petrol station, I then drove in and parked on the other side of the pump to buy for my car. Supprising thing is that he never saw me. This guy bought only 5k diesel! Kept 10k plus the 10k I dashed him.
I called him after he left asking if he bought and how much. Omo, this guy swore with his mother and grandmother that he bought it. I had to send him a picture of him, the truck and snap of his purchase on the pump.
Dash such people 1m, the 1k they steal is sweeter.

Turns out this guy was one of the APC supporters who were against the EndSARS protesters

What if he has supported injustice because of political patronage? What if Nigeria was allowed to work for 'all' rather than a few by collectively rooting for TRUTH regardless of tribe or ethnicity? I pray that Nigeria doesn't happen to you. Things are happening out there, and some of us have been at the receiving end, and that's why we clamour for good governance, but they'll call us names.
