iamoyindamola:Exactly ! Our fans are talking as if we just found ourselves in the UCL without Ramsdale being a huge part of that journey . We do as if Ramsdale was not the one that saved us in some critical matches ; because the coach got a new keeper they feel Ramsdale should just be treated like trash . At least let him have a taste of champions league football. I’m a big stan of Arteta , but he no try for this one at all. |

Lush100:Thank you. I'm sure 90% of Arsenal fans wanted Ramsdale to put up a convincing performance yesterday to at least show Arteta was wrong to bench him but he fumbled. Imagine Brentford had scored from one of his giveaways and we went on to lose the game, none of these pity talks would have sufficed. |

iamoyindamola:I'm sorry to say this but only a club without vision would pick a team based on this criterion. |

mostob:So that mean arteta should have been sacked for bottling top4 and the league last season Do you agree? |

iamoyindamola:He finished 8th He finished 5th He finished 2nd. Continuous improvements Great coaches are always improving themselves and their teams |

IZUKWU:Ramsdale first season he had 12 cs His second he had 14 cs This is someone his team always relegate Great keepers are always improving themselves and their defense Any question? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 8:36pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:And how does both correlate? To answer your question, he had a plan which the management is aware of. Looking at the trajectory, everything is working according to his plan. So why sack him? I will ask again, how does both relate? |

BlueRayDick:They want to reward arteta for bottling but punish ramsdale for making mistakes |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 8:39pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:1. Clean sheet is not conclusive. We got a clean sheet yesterday but the outfield players played a huge role. Zinchenko and Rice had to make a goal line clearance during the match. 2. Does the Ramsdale who played yesterday looked like he is improving? |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 8:42pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:You're ruling out the fact that Ramsdale's mistake might have logically played a role in the bottling if we really want to delve into the matter. However, there are lot of reasons we bottled the league which had nothing to do with Ramsdale though. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 8:43pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
mostob:Do you want me to list the mistakes arteta made last season that caused us too? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 8:45pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:Omo ! I laughed really hard seeing ur post . They are making it seem as if it was not the same Ramsdale that was in goal last season when we qualified for the UCL after many years out. So Arteta and every other team member aside Xhaka who left are enjoying champions league football but Ramsdale is being left out like an outcast and they think it’s cool . They think any human with blood in his vein will appreciate that kind of treatment ? If we are talking about mistakes , even Raya the new bride has made mistakes already this season . Who no dey make mistake ? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Shegzdave: 8:45pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
BlueRayDick:I agree with Oyindamola that Arteta can be biased, I just hope he finds a way to balance that position cause Ramsdale needs that support from the manager too. That Raya is also making the same mistake Ramsdale made last season but cause he’s Arteta preferred choice, his mistakes are overlooked. Can you imagine the level of confidence that Ramsdale has lost that if not for Odumodu, they’ll have scored that goal. I feel pity for him sha |

iamoyindamola:1. What are you saying exactly? Told you CS is not conclusive when judging a GK. I even gave you an example. Let's assume Rice and Zinchenko had not cleared the ball yesterday, would Ramsdale be celebrating another clean sheet? 2. All these man management talks na offside abeg. Receipts plenty online. Or you wan tell me say you have never heard/read what the players had to say about the coach. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 8:49pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
BlueRayDick:It is not fair at all Make I no lie I thought ramsdale will be our ucl keeper since he lost his position in the league |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Shegzdave: 8:51pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:This is why Im angry at Arteta, not playing someone that was part of the squad that led the team back to the UCL and someone say they don’t see anything bad in that. He hasn’t played Ramsdale in the UCL, he’s been playing someone that was brought on loan to unsurp the goalkeeper that made it possible to be back in the UCL. If Arteta isn’t biased about this, then bias must definitely have another meaning |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 8:51pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
Shegzdave:It’s because Raya is the new bride that’s why we are over amplifying Ramsdale’s errors . Last season Gabriel made errors , Saliba made errors , Partey made errors, even Saka lost vital penalty . But nobody is calling for their heads or treating them unfairly cos of that. For all we know they were a part of a great team that did well. As at the end of last season the major additions I thought was necessary was a DM , a deputy for Saka , another striker and lastly a deputy for Ramsdale . How it now turned out that we brought a new keeper and almost immediately relegate Ramsdale to the bench ; only Arteta can explain |

iamoyindamola:He might have made plenty of mistakes but his employers are assured he is working according to the plan he gave them, why sack him? A player confidently said it on live TV that he find it difficult to concentrate for full 90 minutes on the pitch, how do you think that would make you feel as a coach? Let us remove the fact that Raya has always been Arteta's choice way before he signed Ramsdale. That statement from Ramsdale already justified his relegation to the bench. |

iamoyindamola:Make I give you example sef... That Lens match that we lost, Raya was the sole culprit. His two mistakes cost us two goals. The Ramsdale wey una dey advocate for, Did his performances against Westham and Brentford shows he is ready to fight for his spot? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Shegzdave: 9:03pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
BlueRayDick:I’m just waiting to see when they’ll come for Raya like goalkeepers don’t mistake that they want to crucify Ramsdale for it. All we’re saying is Ramsdale shouldn’t be dropped to the bench like that since he’s part of the squad that made it possible for the team to be in the UCL. Arteta just brought someone on loan to immediately replace the goalkeeper that help the team into the UCL. That’s the bias we’re talking about. The same Raya that plays like someone under pressure is who you want to place over Ramsdale. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Shegzdave: 9:07pm On Nov 26, 2023 |
mostob:That same Raya that made us almost concede a stupid goal against city and also concededed a funny goal from Mudryk is who you’re advocating for? Arteta no really try for this matter, moreover Teta is someone I like and I support him but on this matter, he no try. |

iamoyindamola:. Oga lets put this . Assuming after Arteta bottled up top 4 and then arsenal mgt decided they went all out for Pep G of Man city. As a fan would u have been annoyed or not. Can u answer this honesty? (even if u feel Arteta should be given chance) |
