Even Harvetz that he liked after sometime he started benching him and Harvetz have been coming from the bench until we had issue with injury (g. Jesus and Odegard).

Ramdale was supposed to use this opportunity to show he was better.

I am not denying that the replacing him with Raya would not have effect but he was suppose to show his mental strength.
Even Ramsdale was brought in to replace Bernd Leno who was also a good shot stopper. It was his performance that made him upsurp Leno.

If Ramsdale is looking to take over he should prove it on the pitch.

To answer your question, he had a plan which the management is aware of. Looking at the trajectory, everything is working according to his plan. So why sack him?

1. Clean sheet is not conclusive. We got a clean sheet yesterday but the outfield players played a huge role. Zinchenko and Rice had to make a goal line clearance during the match.



2. Does the Ramsdale who played yesterday looked like he is improving?

They are making it seem as if it was not the same Ramsdale that was in goal last season when we qualified for the UCL after many years out.

So Arteta and every other team member aside Xhaka who left are enjoying champions league football but Ramsdale is being left out like an outcast and they think it’s cool . They think any human with blood in his vein will appreciate that kind of treatment ?

A player confidently said it on live TV that he find it difficult to concentrate for full 90 minutes on the pitch, how do you think that would make you feel as a coach? Let us remove the fact that Raya has always been Arteta's choice way before he signed Ramsdale. That statement from Ramsdale already justified his relegation to the bench.
