As an ijebu From Epe i have always prefer to be more scientific and realistic about migration and settlements. Reason why the ijebu eastern migration make more sense to me instead of the unrealistic ife ancestry many people chose.
Awujale has refused to accept ife ancestry and no time in history has ijebu kingdom been under domination by other group, that cannot be said for the aworis of Eko who were dominated and force to pay tax to the bini settlers.

The bini brought in their politics and civilization to Lagos island and so they're the founder of the town.
The argument of whether people lived there before the binis came is not necessary. People were already in America before Columbus discovered America.
