Israel's loud threats of resuming the war after the ceasefire in two or three days are nothing more than empty words.

It also seems Israel is already talking to Qatar and Egypt about the future of Gaza.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are already discussing a deal that would see Gaza demilitarized, Hamas disarmed and its leadership evacuated to another country. But I don't know anyone in the current Israeli governing coalition who would agree to such a scenario.

I sense impatience and frustration from the soldiers. No one wants to stop the war now, not until Hamas is destroyed once and for all.

But honestly, I have the feeling that Bibi is not capable of fulfilling his promise to the people of Israel. I hope I am wrong.

If the conquest of northern Gaza took around 5 weeks, and is still not complete, then the conquest of southern Gaza and the Hamas stronghold of Khan Yunis will take even longer.

I am not sure how long the Americans will be on our side and give us a free hand.

Politically, Israel is in an impossible situation as it tries to guarantee security for its citizens. Unless something extraordinary happens again.

I laughed when they said they had the mightiest army in the middle East. How can a completely dependent army that literally needs free weapons and funds to deal with a ragtag resistance group call itself mighty? Dropping bombs on civilians from the safety of your freely-donated jets doesn't make you mighty.
