This attempt to be dragging Lagos with the owners will result in more resistance and the urge to put these aliens in their space |

jaxxy: Mrtaye:Yes. FHA said they even went to those location to stop them from building when they were at foundation level, but the crooks ignored them like they were above the law. The video below was from one year ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHRX4deFvvM?si=pfNEVjZpeYvAJu5F

| Re: Exchange Between Ilemona Onoja And Tokunbo Wahab by seunodediranivy: 6:29pm On Nov 29, 2023 |
Are the Igbos deserved to be given any genuine document when purchasing land in Lagos or anywhere in Nigeria?. The Igbos don't sell their land to non indigine but they are putting eyes in another person's properties, they deserve to be swindled expecially on the land. They should go and be developing their conserved land. I don't care if all their buildings are demolished, heaven will not fall. Nonsense. |
| Re: Exchange Between Ilemona Onoja And Tokunbo Wahab by Mrtaye: 6:31pm On Nov 29, 2023 |

Nigerians always do things anyhow, someone will buy a multi million naira land and still build multi million naira house, but to spend small money on due diligence, na lie. That's how elrufai demolished governors and senators houses that year. |

naptu2:I believe an investigation should be carried out. Those who sold the land should be arrested and prosecuted. The drainage/land doesn't belong to them in first place, so selling something that doesn't belong to you, is stealing. |
| Re: Exchange Between Ilemona Onoja And Tokunbo Wahab by joseph1832(m): 6:41pm On Nov 29, 2023 |
Trimjos:Dude. Nigerians build houses without government approval, it's a standard and known fact!. |
| Re: Exchange Between Ilemona Onoja And Tokunbo Wahab by Mrtaye: 6:43pm On Nov 29, 2023 |
raskymonojendor:FHA is at Abule Ado which is federal and it's a different scenario with that of island which is state and are even supposed to be more closer and responsive to the people |
| Re: Exchange Between Ilemona Onoja And Tokunbo Wahab by raskymonojendor: 6:44pm On Nov 29, 2023 |
Mrtaye:Responsive to people building on drainage. Same people will laugh at how Lagos is being flooded.

If I have money is better I buy apartment here in austria that wasting millions of naira in nigeria, state governors knew what they are doing by not issuing people with CFO ,even with cfo , they can still revoke it and still demolish your house, take your money to your state what ever happens you can endure it,all the same I blames igbo people for buying land anyhow ,all the places hausa people are living in lagos since 70s is still with old buildings, northerners will not take the risk of buying land at idi Araba or sari iganmu or alaba rago and developing it |
| Re: Exchange Between Ilemona Onoja And Tokunbo Wahab by naptu2(op): 6:45pm On Nov 29, 2023 |
Channels TV went there with the commissioner and residents admitted that they had no approval. A person that lives in the area tweeted about how the people that built the estate were warned and about how the blocking of the canal caused flooding and they've been complaining to government. Several property developers have also tweeted about about how they were offered sea view land (the canal is the sea), but they turned it down because it is obviously illegal. Yet some people keep saying the government is at fault. OK, where is your approval or C of O? They'll tell you story. OK, where and what is the name of the government official that you claim is corrupt? Another story. OK, take legal action. More stories Their stories contain no evidence, just wild stories. |

They are just doing bojuboju politics. Lagos state officials in charge of approval are corrupt to the heavens |

Burob:Omoniles are specialists on this. They will sell an already sold land because you failed to develop it and will issue you family receipt while assuring you that there's no problem |

The pretense, or maybe ignorance, of a typical Nigerian is sometimes funny. If you truly live in Nigeria and know how we roll, you won't be online blaming any government. I am sure most of us know the reality but many are feigning ignorance online. Government will tag 'X' on a property and construction will keep going on because the owner of the building already assured them he will settle the boys at government offices. We know how we roll and when the game is over, just admit it's over! |
| Re: Exchange Between Ilemona Onoja And Tokunbo Wahab by Mrtaye: 6:50pm On Nov 29, 2023 |
raskymonojendor:If this kind of situation occured in the UK or USA there would be massive cry against the government who are actually the custodians of the land and who are actually supposed to educate and sensitize the citizens |
