I think he is a coward!!!
Not true.

Ojukwu stood and fought Nigeria for 3 good years until Britain backed Nigeria to blockade food passage to Biafra which led to mass starvation of Biafran children mostly and Biafran soldiers started losing morale to fight, hence Biafran elites begged Ojukwu to throw in the towel he refused, they then proposed that he should just leave Biafra and allow his Vice Philip Effiong to surrender to Nigeria to save Biafran children from further dying of hunger induced by the food blockade that caused global outcry.

Britain via Awolowo suggested the food blockade as a means to end the war as they noticed Nigeria couldn't defeat Biafra just by military battle, they saw the economic and starvation policy as the only way to defeat Biafra.

Mind you, Nigeria was fully supported militarily, financially and otherwise by the below countries:

Britain
Egypt
Russia
USA who later withdrew
AU countries
Saudi Arabia
Chad
Niger

While Biafra was supported with some military weapon sales by:

France

Some mercenaries by:

Israel

Relief materials by:

Gabon
Republic of Ireland Catholic Mission

Ojukwu still remains the most valuable and respected leader in Nigeria and in Africa. After the Biafra war, he was given a heroic welcome by the Nigerian government, during his burial, he was given a state burial , the Nigerian leaders and other African leaders and Nigerian army were saluting his corpse left right and centre. What a brave man was Ojukwu.
Oh Jesus see what anther misinformed Nnwannem wrote again? Pls do you ever read history or hear history? Most respected Nigerian is Ojukwwu, pls how, respected by who and for what?

A brave man you said? A braved man that caused Igbo 3million innocent souls death? A brave man that made someone like me don't have a single existing uncle from my dad side? A braved man that over 3milion souls perished due to his greed and hate for Nigeria project and their is no record he lost a single soul from his family?

Pls, pls just stop it. Ok.

Just celebrate him as you wish its fine and youd right but pls those eulogies are pieces of shit.

Good day

Former president of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was honoured at the just concluded Ojukwu Memorial Ceremony which took place at Owerri, the Imo State Capital.

The spectacular event witnessed a massive turnout with delegations from all over the country. It was a spectacular ceremony with colorful parades, cultural dance troupes, live music, drama, football awards, masquerades, lively speeches and traditional presentations.
Nice but I wonder why Imo carry our Ojukwu ikemba for head pass us.

It's best he explains and puts it in public domain so people don't get misinformed.
In case you don't know, the things these people are doing are just tactics to rewrite history. If you don't keep cancelling their misinformation, eventually the truth will get eroded.

This is something Igbos need to learn

Ojukwu is indeed a hero.....A hero that foolishly plunged over 3 million people into a boiling water, starvation and death . Ran away with his balls in his hands. What a hero.

Mohammed El-zakzaky of the shi-ite movement in Kaduna lost 6 of His children (all boys) in two different administrations fighting for what He wanted and did not run. Only His daughters were sparred.

All these, the Nigerian army did to Him and He still faced them until He was imprisoned for years till He was later released. That's bravery, not one person that ran away after seeing the result of His misadventure.

Loll the great Ojukwu called Igbo answered who is Mnk a Londoner who does not have an ordinary Aboki kiosk in Igboland as investment to make any such calls grin who the hell is that fat Buffon Simon ekperima to make any calls in Igboland?

I am not against self determination for it is a right. I never for once berated massob and their freedom struggle.
A destructive oppressive group of criminals and kidnappers like ipob has no business with the word freedom struggle for they will surely put others to the chains if they had the power.

Igboland rejects your ipob over and over again.
All you have as man power are thugs, cultist, kidnappers, drugkingpins and the ills of the society. Nwafors can never follow the lead of such destructive elements,go and verify.
