Many Nigerians are debating this as the FG is said to be considering releasing Nnamdi Kanu from State detention.

FG isn't releasing Kanu, with the numbers of cases and treasonable offenses hanging over him

Stop deceiving yourself. Nobody can play on Tinubu in releasing that terrorist. No plan whatsoever to release him anytime soon

But no Nigerian court have been able to convict him, infact he had been set free by the courts on countless moments

We are keeping him as prisoner of war. He will be released a month to 2027 election as a chess move to counter any Igbo politician that comes up.

Please don't ever bring the Nigerian project called Peter Obi into our Biafran struggle.

Whether Nnamdi kanu is release from captivity or not; Simon Ekpa will still be in charge till Nnamdi Kanu is medically and physically fit to take over again.

Simon Ekpa have been doing a good job running a Decentralized IPOB.

And he have our full support.

True because of technicalities. He wasn't extracted to Nigeria by legal means. His lawyers only need to quote that and all the allegations against him would be thrown out.

The law is blind.

But fortunately, the FG reserves the right to act on national security outside of the court.
Kanu might spend like 10/15yrs in jail without court hearing.

Was Obi's acceptance across the Niger borne out of sympathy for Kanu's incarceration? If perhaps yes, would Kanu's release reduce hunger in Nigeria and the yearnings of sane people for good governance? If no, a lizard with good intentions would always have better approval ratings than a kleptomaniac. Op, SAPA is walking in the streets of Nigeria. Kanu's release or Mandela's resurrection is the least of our problems, at least over here in SS.

Well reasoned response.

Nnamdi Kanu should not be in jail if not that the executive institution et al have crippled the judiciary. It has no business with Peter Obi and the drive for a better Nigeria.
