This photo only goes to show the leap in Igbo societies. If they could move like this in a 100 yrs, what will they not do in 200yrs?

Albinism? incest?

It's caused by Genetic mutation

You are the illiterate
Albinism is caused. By inheritance of a recessive gene each from both parents just like sickle cell disease
And exactly for that reason in is more common in incestuous communities

Source??

Next time, put your source just like the OP did so a reader can verify. You didn't put a source deliberately because you know what you typed is false.

Btw, the top picture looks exactly like a recent picture of Igbo women in group picture.

I don't think you realise that the sources OP is sharing are in historical archives and first hand reports of those British officials. As Reno Omokri indicated, the British officials took a lot of pictures of uncivilized unclothed people then and archived the records to understand the way of life of those people. They didn't mean any harm actually.

If I were you, I will be glad and proud of the progress your tribe has made. Unclothedness has never been part of Yoruba culture and history because the Yoruba had first the education, exposure and then transferred to others to help those other non-Yoruba tribes become civilised which is actually a good thing as citizens of same country today.

He is directly attacking the Igbo by proving that the Ohaneze Ndigbo was lying when they claimed that Igbo developed Lagos whereas it is the other way around. The Yoruba actually brought civilisation to the Igbo yet remained humble and tolerant despite the good fortune and miles ahead headstart the Yoruba have over the Igbo and still maintain till date in education, civilisation, art , politics etc.

He is proving that the Yoruba and Lagos were fully developed and civilised even while the Igbo were still largely unexposed to modern civilisation. What surprised me still is that this is just as recent as less than a century ago that Igboland is this. I am shocked to say the least.

So what calls for the arrogance of some Igbo here on Nairaland when they should be grateful to the Yoruba. Is it just ingratitude alone or envy because this is history showing that the Yoruba civilised the Igbo! Na wa o.

The pictures and historical references are genuine and incontrovertible to prove that the Ohaneze was attempting to lie and revise history and mislead others. Anyone who knows history will be offended by the lie too just like Reno
I know very well that you are not blind because a blind person can't read the write up on the picture but you have eyes to read and refused to do so, very funny indeed.
More Yorubas pictures grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin.

Losing Arochukwu to the Akampka took a. Toll on your life
They conquered Arochukwu where they rule to This day and used it as a base to sell Iboes as slaves for centuries

Oyo kingdom

Does ' Kingdom' has to be Yoruba word for it to make sense?

what difference does that word make to what I said?

I said that Arochukwu was captured by the Akamkpa and they established a dynasty which reign there till this day

When they conquered it they never used the word confederacy.

No kings until Akamkpa conquered them and established Eze Aro, the Ekpe society and Ibini Ukpabi cult.

Aro were comfortable selling other Iboes as slaves because they did not consider themselves Iboes. They were civilised Efiks . They did not well their own, only the naked savages around them

and I ask to what is the purpose of this post now. Even china, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and even south Africa at a time were all walking almost naked and uncivilized but today look at them and look at Nigeria. They have all gone past us, same as the igbos look at them today they are the only people in Nigeria that reflects civilization in any where they are in the world. Looking at Reno u will think he his from a tribe that has political value in Nigeria. Reno is from an inconsequential tribe in Nigeria u might not have had of the name of his tribe before ishekiri. Is it not better for Reno to put more energy on his tribe tribe that has no political value so that other Nigerians will know that there is a tribe in Nigeria know as ishekiri? Igbos have a know name all over the world, Reno where are the ishekiri place in the world apart from big warri? Inconsequential Reno and his tribe hiding under Yoruba to make noise. Come out and tell us where your people ishekiri stand to be in Nigeria politics. Even governor ishekiri cannot be in delta state because their vote is inconsequential to give them that
