Kudos to Spurs though. Imagine playing City without any CB yet still managed to get a point after going behind twice.

Here we go with Arteta’s capping, I am sorry, I don’t believe him one bit. That doesn’t look like fatigue, that thing looks like a calf injury and he better not ruin that man’s life and career by fielding him if that injury na calf injury. I have seen Arteta lie way too much over the health of players and I am tired of it.

Shebi na here we dey, the truth will eventually come out.
Bro...easy na. grin

How do you expect him to know what exactly was wrong immediately after the match without proper testing?
Was Arteta not the one who subbed him off at halftime against Lens?

These refs are Terrible. Are they diff from NPFL refs atall? Npfl refs may be better. Smh. They'll still want to punish Haaland for his tweet and ignore the nonsense they did. They should getat. It's going round sha.

Since you claim i don't understand the discussion, then throw light to it.
Everything cannot be viewed from your own lens or prism. You think you know better than Arteta .

No vex, your MCM too dey lamba grin

He should have just told us Tomiyasu will be evaluated and he doesn’t know extent of the injury or what the injury is.

The response on this thread is one of excitement and positivity after reading your post because of course we all need Tomiyasu but the fact is fatigue isn’t why he dropped to the ground clutching his calf in discomfort.

I cannot read Arteta's mind.
He knows why.
Let me ask you a question.
Let's assume (God forbid) Gabu has accumulated 5 yellow card and he is to miss the next match(with Tomi not available)
Should we leave the LCB position blank since Gabu isn't playing?
If Arteta believes Kwikor is not confident enough to play there
Would you prefer just throws anyone to that position that hasn't tested his strength there or would you prefer a player that has been training for it and featured in some matches in that position?

If you can answer this question you may find the answers why needed to try it out

Of course you had no point also seeing Arteta made a decision of which you had no idea why but you took to criticize.
Let end it there.

How confident are you on a scale of 1 to 10 that the injury is a calf injury? Let's start from there.

There’s no explanation for the madness bro . The only defence I can come up with in favor of Arteta as a stan is : “ Most likely he did that to bring out the best in Gabriel ; maybe he wanted to put him in a situation to let him know he’s not indispensable “ .

Arsenal’s defence in the league has conceded the least of goals this season . Gabriel and Saliba partnership is crazy ! No CB pairing in the league comes close . We’ve only conceded 10 prior to Cunha’s goal yesterday .
Or probably he wanted to try something new

After his goal today against Wolves, Bukayo Saka (36) has now scored more Premier League goals for Arsenal than Cesc Fabregas (35) in 64 less games.

He needs five more to overtake Aaron Ramsey (40) who is next in the list.

Only 13 Arsenal players have scored more goals in the Premier League than Bukayo Saka.

He’s only 22 years old… #afc
This one legendary status will surpass that of Henry. 🙏🏼

Well, the something new didn't look too good to we the fans. Thank God he backed out and we have a solid CB partnership now.

He held his calf now. The speed at which the physio used his comms and kept talking for long should allow any of us to know this is no fatigue issue, at least.

You can never tell. He had Timber which gave him multiple options and he had to change some things from last season to prevent us being too predictable. For example, teams playing against us double up on both Saka and Martinelli. This has the advantage of making us stronger in defense as we are less prone to attack but at the same time it has the disadvantage of making us weaker in attack as Saka or Martinelli would have to put in extra effort to affect the game.

Holding his calf may suggest an injury but it cannot make a conclusion. The manager says it's fatigue, if you strongly doubt with enough evidence then let's hear it.

Nothing u've written here explains why he benched an uninjured Gabriel for Kiwior earlier the season. That particular decision looked like trying to fix what is not broken.

Like I said earlier, thank God he backed out of that position and we have a stronger backline once again.

I am not arguing about the point you made. I am equally happy we have a solid back line. I am only saying 'perhaps' he wanted to try new thing to make us less predictable. At least there is proof of our being more predictable.

You are more likely to know wassup from the live physio involvement than from the manager(who's job is to use the real info to his advantage against consequent games)

I'm presenting evidence you're still saying drop evidence 😂

Luton boss Rob Edwards on Arsenal:

"They're very, very strong in all aspects. They're quick, they're big, they're technically good. All the best!

"I think scared [of visiting Kenilworth Road] would be the wrong word, I don't want to make them angry as well!"

Mikel Arteta on Takehiro Tomiyasu:

"We assessed him after the game, we took him off as a precaution so we'll wait.

"Whether it's useful to use him or not, we will decide tomorrow.

"He’s a strong boy and hopefully he'll be fine."

There's this Narrative that Arsenal have become worse than Last season, well it's all driven by hate and pain.Because everyone who's saying that predicted Arsenal to finish out of top 4 but they're now looking like idiots, Carragher in Particular
