Soldiers of the 601st Battalion in close-quarter combat with Hamas terrorists Intense battles between the IDF and Hamas terrorist operatives are continuing in the Gaza Strip. During operational activity of the 401st Brigade in the northern Gaza Strip, soldiers entered a building where they encountered Hamas terrorists who opened fire at them. During the battle inside the building, Sergeant First Class (Res.) Ben Zussman was killed, as well as Sergeant Binyamin Yehoshua Needham. Two additional IDF soldiers were wounded. The soldiers engaged in close-quarters combat, fired at the terrorists, and eliminated them. 1 Like

The fate of Hamas terrorists in southern Gaza will be "the same and worse" than those in northern Gaza, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned on Monday evening. Jeremy Corbyn asks if there are British forces in Gaza, but the Foreign Under-Secretary does not answer. On Dec 2, the UK Defence Ministry announced deploying unmanned surveillance drones over Gaza to help “hostage rescue activity”. Recently, a British-Israeli soldier, Binyamin Needham, has been announced killed in action in the northern Gaza Strip. The Foreign Enlistment Act supposedly forbids British Citizens to fight against countries at peace with the UK without government approval. The Guardian remarked in 2015 that around 100 British citizens who do not even have Israeli citizenship are thought to be enlisted with the Israeli army.

A report in the Wall Street Journal: Israel is trying to flood the Hamas tunnel r with seawater and thus destroy it According to the report, Israel built a system of 5 large pumps, north of the Shatti refugee camp, with which it can transfer thousands of cubic meters of water per hour into the tunnels, and flood them within a few weeks. According to American officials, Israel notified the US at the beginning of November about the project, and completed its construction in mid-November. American officials told the newspaper that they do not know how close Israel is to completing the program and whether it has finally decided in favor of using it. According to them, it is not clear how successful the plan will be since no one knows all the details of the tunnels and the land around them, and how the sea water will drain through the tunnels. They also added that there are American officials who expressed concern about the program. The IDF refused to comment on the newspaper's inquiry regarding the project, but stated that they are working with a variety of methods to dismantle Hamas' capabilities. (Doron Kadush) |

Sharon Aloni Cunio, her husband David, and their 3-year-old twin daughters, Yuli and Emma, were all taken hostage on Oct 7. While in Gaza, Yuli was taken from her mother for 10 days. Sharon had no information on her little daughter. Before they were released, Yuli was brought back and Sharon learned that terrorists had taken her 3-year-old and placed her with a Palestinian woman. Sharon and her daughters are now back in Israel, but David remains a hostage in Gaza.

Hezbullah issued a statement announcing they destroyed two Israeli vehicles in Ramia with ATGMs, burning the vehicles and killing (+injuring) those inside. Incident happened at 10.40 pm. No comment from Israel yet. 2 Likes 1 Share

Earlier, Hezbullah released footage from before the ongoing war, of Israeli soldiers in the scope of their snipers. Today, soldiers are rarely ever spotted on the border, and are stationed deep in Israeli territory. 1 Like 1 Share

The attorney generals of 14 US states signed a letter threatening mainstream media outlets like CNN and The New York Times over their biased coverage of the Gaza war and their possible support of Hamas. "We will continue to follow your reporting to ensure that your organizations do not violate any federal or State laws by giving material support to terrorists abroad. Now your organizations are on notice. Follow the law." The letter focuses on the fact that Palestinian "journalists" who worked for these outlets were seen in video clips accompanying the Hamas terrorists who invaded Israel on October 7, and even participating in war crimes. If these news outlets hired Gaza journalists knowing their connection to Hamas, they could be charged with violating federal anti-terror laws. IT |

Egypt controlled Gaza from 1948 to 1967, assuring that a Palestinian state would not arise there. During its governance of Gaza, Palestinian refugees were kept in squalid camps and Gaza had one of the lowest standards of living in the world. Life in Gaza improved dramatically upon capture by Israel in 1967. For the next 20 years, until the first intifada, Gaza had one of the highest economic growth rates in the world, universities, hospitals, schools, etc were built, gaza went from almost no indoor plumbing to nearly univesal (outside of the UNRWA-run refugee towns), and so on. Menachem Begin sought to return Gaza to Egypt in 1979 as part of the Camp David accords, after which Egypt could have helped Gazans as much as it wanted in any way it wanted. Egypt refused. Egypt currently refuses to temporarily open its borders to Gazan refugees to ease the humanitarian crisis. But sure, Egypt is a would-be savior of Gaza. (David Bernstein) |

IDF: In response to yesterday's (Monday) launches from Lebanon to Israel, a short while ago IAF fighter jets struck Hezbollah launch posts, terror infrastructure, and a military compound. In addition, in response to a launch from Lebanon to the area of Zar'it in northern Israel, the IDF struck the sources of the fire. Furthermore, in order to remove a threat, the IDF struck a few other locations in Lebanese territory. 2 Likes 1 Share
