Nine-time Women's Africa Cup of Nations winners Nigeria became the final side to book their place at the 2024 tournament as qualifiers culminated on Tuesday.

The Super Falcons are eleven-time Women's Africa Cup of Nations winners. And we are proud of them unlike Super Eagles.

They were beaten by Kenya in the first round.

Oh. I see. It must have been a mixed feeling for the Kenyans after eliminating Cameroon and still failed to qualify for the tournament.

There's no serious contender against us.
The Super Falcons shall win the cup.

It depends on how you count it.

The very first African Nations Cup took place in Nigeria in 1998. There have been 12 of them and Nigeria has won 9 (Equatorial Guinea won 2 and South Africa won 1).

That's what the BBC is counting.

However, before the first ever Nations Cup, there were 2 rounds of qualifying for the World Cup in 1991 and 1995. The winner of those home and away qualifying series was proclaimed as African champion.

So some people say that Nigeria are 11 time African champion because we won those two qualifying rounds.

On a normal day, this kind of match should played by players from Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels or Robo FC. But we can't take chances because football is growing everywhere. On a normal day, this kind of match should played by players from Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels or Robo FC.
