Before social media, the only possible interaction between educated person A and uneducated person B would have been in class room C where A would be teaching a set D of students such that B is a member of D. But on social media like nairaland, they talk to you as if their "thoughts" were as valid as yours. You educate them and they return insults to you, whereas before social media, you would have been getting a salary for educating them and they would be showing respect.

People of very low intellectual capacity are empowered on social media, they are the majority on social media and in the real world. But in the real world, there is a hierarchy which keeps the dumb people in check.
