I have always insisted that the people in NNPCL are part of the problem of Nigeria and they can never be part of the solution.
I was waiting for the people in NNPCL to start their funny talk and I am not surprised it happened quicker than I thought
Help me ask this man if he has ever operated a Refinery before in his life, the last time any Refinery worked in Nigeria was close to 30 years ago and I am sure he was still a junior staff or possibly still applying to get a job in NNPCL
Someone that his organisation spent 12 trillion on repairing refineries and not one single barrel was refined is here schooling us about prices of refined crude oil,he better cover his face if he has any iota of shame left in him
I was fortunate to visit the NNPCL Depot in Emene,Enugu State some years back and I couldn't but weep for Nigeria
I was informed that the Depot has not received petroleum products for close to twenty five years and the place is now a shadow of itself but somehow they still receive salaries for doing nothing everyday
The people in NNPCL don't surprise me one bit,it will take them time to get used to the fact that free money has stopped flowing and they have to really work for their money
And lastly, all this talk is a preparing the ground so that when that scrap metal in Port Harcourt doesn't work in December,he will quote this statement he just made, that Refineries don't reduce fuel prices
My people,yeye dey smell jare

This is even a small issue

If you listened Sanusi Lamido Sanisi, he said NNPCL has not been audited since the last 15yrs, that even Finance ministry does not even know how much is being generated from crude oil sale.

The country is in a big mess

cheesy

The cold truth, the cold truth and nothing but the cold truth

Refineries are created to make money. Money to pay the owner, to pay for maintenance, to pay for taxes, and to pay for worker's salaries.

Any attempt to restrict money making by refinery would lead to its collapse.

(Like what Tinubu is doing now. Landing price of petrol has been above N720 since October 9, and yet fuel is selling below N700 nationwide. LOL.).

Anyway, Nigerians do not want to face that truth.

(Awaits people to start spilling electrons).
You're always everywhere spining trash
How is Saudi refinery able to sell fuel below Nigerian imported fuel price?
What about US and India?
You fool no one. Just eat your corn in peace

THUS IS RUBBISH TALK FROM AN OIL GRABBER.. BUHARI THIEVE.. TINUBU THIEVES... THIS IS WORST THAN DEIZENLI EVER DID

LET oil Producing Communities manage their oil and get petrol at a lower price LOWER THAN DANGOTE.

Obviously, Hausa or Yoruba or Hausa cannot manage the oil of Niger Delta for the well-being or best interest of NIGER DELTANS...

RESOURCE CONTROL SHOULD BE REVISITED

Price of fuel per litre
NNPC -#617

Dangote - #601.

If it sells below dollar price , expect a lot of greedy people to snuggle it out to neighbouring countries.

One major thing that make me dislike this government apart from hardship its brought upon Nigeria is the retention of this good for nothing man call NNPCL GMD. How's could someone in his right sense reappoint this wicked man. This man claimed we consume 100 literally of patrol, in which every body disputed, including the then minister of state for petroleum and custom boss. The man was just embezzling Nigeria money, he suppose to be in detention like Emefele, but what he got from our so called renew hope is reappointment. You people can continue you will meet God later. So according this ungodly man, the cost of taken crude to where they refined it, that of bring it back as refined product, insurance and import dutiesall this will not have any impact on cost?

Of course but brain challenged imps were jumping up and down saying when Dangote comes on stream petrol would sell for ₦300 because Nigeria won't be importing fuel again with foreign exchange!
I won't even be surprised if it becomes more costly to buy a litre of Dangote fuel, than to import it.If you query it they would tell you that selling anything below current price the refinery would run at a loss and won't be able to pay it's debts. Also selling at anything below dollar based pricing would encourage smuggling across the borders.
That is the Nigerian way of things:contradictions and "upsidededness".

I specifically want to know what those fellows will concoct to defend their president. This was their defense in light of the challenges the country is facing. They are brainwashed I tell you. Even if the truth is staring them in the face they will gladly become blind.

Anybody with a little common sense knows that you are right about fuel being more expensive in the future even when Dangote refinery is setup and operational. This is the same thing that happened with rice and foodstuff in Buhari's administration. Encourage local production to boost the economy. The result - price of a bag of rice is pursuing ₦100,000 mark from ₦7000 during GEJ's administration; the administration they called a failure. Ironically, theirs is failure of the kind never witnessed in the history of Nigeria till date so much that the word 'failure' to describe Buhari and Tinubu's administrations is a gross understatement of the idea.

Responding to questions by the senate committee on appropriations on the potential drop in pump price of petroleum owing to the expected functionality of refineries, Kyari clarified his comment after he was interrogated again. He explained that it might be possible to have a reduction, but it is not the main objective of the refineries.

He buttressed that maintaining the energy security target has fostered the confidence that in 2024, Nigeria will become a net exporter of petroleum products.

The crude oil is a locally source mineral. The reason why there is high price of fuel is because dollar which has more value than the Naira is require to import the product.
Now that Nigeria is refining her crude oil the price should come down .
Kyari doesn't mean well for the people.
He and his cronies want to enrich themselves with high fuel price.

Then let them buy crude supply at international price. And let it not be on post supply paayment basis. I hope Dangote has started to pay for the supplies he is starting to receive.
