The biafran soldiers had committed so many attrocities in the areas occupied by the minorities in the old Eastern region, even marched into Mid West in old Bendel, now Edo State raping women and young girls.. I'm.sure those were the things Victor Banjo saw that made him have a rethink about the whole biafra invasion.

They wanted to march into South West but Yoruba soldiers killed scores of biafran troops at Ore, like decimated and crushed their dreams and the remaining ones ran back to biafra. It was after that the gallant Brig. Gen. Benjamin Adekunle a.k.a Black Scorpion and his 3rd Marine Commando led the push into biafra territory through the creeks and biafra suffered heavy losses.
