Abagworo:
The way you guys insult Imo Governor shocks me to the bone. I have always criticized Uzodinma on security but why can't I also accept he has done some good too even though more is expected. You act like robots assigned to condemn and malign a man based on personal assumptions, groupie or what I call mob syndrome. No State in Nigeria is doing well enough and Imo is not the worst so let's stop the personal attack and work on suggestions for the Governor's people to read and if possible pass to him. I'm sad that I've not visited Imo for years because of insecurity.
All these talk yet you couldn't defend the governor or show how he has done extraordinarily well. Uzodinma is a mistake in Imo state and it's unfortunate that Imo state's growth will be slowed for another 4 years.

Then they get closer and see statues to clowns like Jacob Zuma who's own country ousted, Rochas himself, Buhari and other random clowns. Had this thing been done with integrity it would have put Owerri on the world map in a major way. Look at the Renassaince statue in Senegal and how it attracts thousands of vistors from all over the world. Statue of Liberty. Eiffle Tower. Our own is Rochas and friends. What does that inspire in a human being that is worth visiting? Or after visiting, what will you tell people you went to see?

Hopefully they demolish it and start over because it's a very illiterate fixture

Imo state is undeniably cursed . Imo is very unlucky with leadership

Unbiased1:
@bolded. It's just unfortunate. I dey pity you. Which current indications are you talking about? Can you show me any index or statistics to proof that Imo state has improved in any sector for 4 years now. I forgot, road markings are the new achievements in Imo state. The picture you showed earlier showed a road marking painted green, when is he going to create yellow road markings? huh
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by NwekereNdokl: 11:22pm On Dec 09, 2023
Imo is a failed state. It’s very clear

Unbiased1:
People like you should be banished from Igboland because your poor thinking and low standards are detrimental to our overall growth as a people. Imo has the highest number of unemployed people in the east, Imo has lost its glory in the education sector, even Ebonyi state has surpassed Imo in terms of investment and growth in the education sector, Imo state's IGR is one of the poorest in Nigeria, Imo is the most indepted state in the East and in the top 5 most indepted state in Nigeria with nothing to show for it. The useless fool of a governor and his worthless and clueless supporters have been celebrating road markings for close to 5 years now. The fool even invited Buhari twice to commission half completed roads. You and other supporters of this bad governance in Imo state are delinquents and deserve to be banished from Igboland. You think coming here to post the images of private hotels in Imo is an achievement? You are poorly exposed.

I'm happy there is someone else in this thread who views these issues without sentiments. Can you confirm if Akachi statue is still standing because Ihedioha almost demolished it that time he was a governor.

I just like uzodima way of building roads ..

He doesn’t build rubbish!
One can see how the roads look with the markings and others …
The Toronto -road safety road is too classy abeg. I took that route to Isinweke, via egbu-mbaise-aguneze grin

I'm fully on ground to see things for my self and I still maintain, the next after mbakwe is uzodinma

That Akachi Tower always reminded me of the Tower of Babel…..or a drowning man making one last gesture for help before going under! Would have made more sense to make it a fist of defiance!

Lol. The beauty of imo isn't about owerri again. I was in Amaraku today, not only was it a smooth ride, they also have solar lights along the road.

Imo state looks more beautiful now than it was under any governor asides mbakwe

His efforts weren't good enough. How do you build roads leading only to your properties and terminate?
I'm not even talking about the poor quality of roads but motive for such projects.
Tourism is purely intentional and not selfish; the resultant effect for the otherwise, is the law of diminishing return
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by NwekereNdokl: 3:47pm On Dec 10, 2023
Imo is a failed state. Owerri is more or less a slum and a glorified village that should be demolished.

Imo state has failed in all indices of development, infrastructures are dilapidated, education has collapsed, poverty is high in imo state, unemployment is high in imo state. Most imo indigenes in SE prefers to live in either Anambra or Enugu, but no one from those states goes to live in imo state.

Imo state should think out of the box to know why most imo indigenes are running out of the state.
