popizaino:E reach to ask na ![]() This country wey be say u go start one business and almost immediately every other person starts the same business to begin drag customers with u. See Chi foods that started selling evaporated milk in N50 pack; almost all the major milk sellers in Nigeria have quickly jumped into that niche dragging the same set of customers with them. Dem go come watch Chief Ebuka turn N200K to N400m just like that? |

obainojazz:who cares? A house is a house irrespective of the location, beside, if not for that village, many of you lot will go hungry, no? "Abroadians build houses in the village because the can afford to" people who build houses in the village can't afford to? Like I said, a house is a house, irrespective of the location. My former naija landlord will soon retire free many years here and probably move to Nigeria, he’s already selling those properties and cashing in big time.the same applies here. Many are selling their houses in the cities and relocating to the village, why? Because that's where the future is. Before you respond, make a million dollars and tell me where you’ll build your house or how much you spend on it.I dont have a million dollars and I already know where I'll build my house, that is my village. After all, there's no place like home, no? |

joseph1832:Not sure where you’re from or your financial reasoning but we build houses in the village to holiday/retirement not to live and earn a living. We use spare cash to build in the village… you can’t be earning in Lagos and be living in the village. I give up 🤦🏽♂️ |

BlueRayDick:Lol. Everything is possible but it would have been believable if his business was with the Chinese. But the real question here is 8years enough to build business trust with a Chinese client that would supply billion naira worth of goods to have 400m naira profits? |

BlueRayDick:Even if the election is cancelled which is not even possible seeing as PDP is only quoting the part of the supreme court judgment that favours them, all 27 of them will win the next election. |

izzou:The supreme court ruled that election will only be cancelled if there is no factionalisation within the party and members defect. That's the part PDP clearly avoided in their press release. If you read the other letter Rufai Oseni posted in the link by seankafor, the lawyer tried to claim that there's no factionalisation within the party. Goodluck arguing it out in court seeing how the different factions have been procuring court orders against each other |

Bombing of Kaduna residents was decided by God. If he didn't decide it, it wouldn't have happened - Tinubu https://www.nairaland.com/7937987/bombing-kaduna-residents-decided-god Well, so are hyperinflation, insecurity, embezzlement, wasteful spendings... Nigerians, your pain is a predestination by God according to your president. |

raumdeuter:I just remembered - this is otedola's story. In the 2000s he was running Zenon oil and doing diesel direct. He was selling diesel at a lower cost than anyone in the industry. Outsiders thought he was sine sort of business genuis The reality was Obj had given a standing order - once femis vessel comes in clear it immediately. It does not matter where he is on the queue. So otedola did not incurr demurrage on his product and could undercut everyone else. Yardua put a stop to that and otedola almost went bankrupt. When gej came in, otedola was literally surgically attached to the man like glue. The man knew he had to re-secure the bag |

raumdeuter:Wike vs Fubara is a fight Fubara can't win because Fubara does not have the grassroots, the structure, the LGA Chairmen nor the House. Even Fubara does not know how he won the last election. And just as importantly FG is fully.behind Wike. There is a reason Rivers APC Executive committee was disbanded and replaced with an interim committee. It is so as to take APC Rivers Structure away from Amaechi and give it to Wike. Tinubu has defenestrated Amaechi and crowned Wike as pointman of APC in Rivers State so all tools of "Federal Mighty" are behind Wike from Security Services to Judiciary to money. Amaechi and Dakuku are the same structure, and Magnus Abe does not even see eye to eye with Amaechi to work together, and even then it's a moot point. Fubara is cornered and trapped from grassroots and FG, and can only play the ethnic card, among which the main Wardlords in his tribe are not even behind him. Any attempt to fight a losing battle will only lead to civil conflict and bloodshed in Rivers State. . . . but the outcome is already predetermined. The only trick Fubara can pull out of the hat is to go work a deal with Peter Odili to get a favourable judicial outcome like Amaechi did against Omehia at a cost of $10m, but I'm sure Wike has got there first. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:49am On Dec 12, 2023 |
Ibime:My question is what will people that were originally in APC in rivers do ? Will they just allow Wike and his people who have shown them shege in APC come and take over the structure of APC just like that ? Won’t they be better off if they align with Fubara who has direct access to Rivers state treasury at the moment instead of Wike ? I know traditionally Rivers is PDP and APC as a party is still dying to find its root in the grassroots in rivers state ; APC is like an opposition there from my little time in the state and my interraction with the oil and gas guys on ground . I know it was Wike-Fubara unholy alliance that brought Fubara to power , but Shey he will just throw all those executive power away and start begging a godfather that has already made up his mind on sacking him ? As for Peter Odili , wetin that septugenarian still wan dey do with millions in dollars again ? 🤦♂️. Do these rich people not get tired of money and power ? |
