Ask yourself why German cars comes with low mileage

A Toyota with 100k mileage is far better than a Benz BMW and Volkswagen with 50k mileage

As for me, no car brand or model is BAD.

I can point to our roads, mechanics, car parts sellers, economy, maintenance culture, driving habits, ignorance, stingyness, etc. in Nigeria as the ones BAD!!!

Performance is another... In terms of drive performance and "individual" quality you can't compare a Lamborghini to an audi for instance.

Or a Benz to say a Volkswagen in performance and drive. Even though both are good brands!

Depends on which country you are.
In Nigeria, vehicles will be tag "a bad Car" simply because users can't find a good technician to attend to repairs.
Nigeria roads are not vehicle worthy, many car brand can not move freely on these roads without breaking their bumpers, such car will be termed "bad"

If not that benz has more elegance, superior interior and top rated wheel balance i won't give it number 1

I agree with you. Indeed no car brand is bad.

The major reason why people keep having issues with their cars is because the average Nigerian buys a car which is 10 years and above.

Imagine driving Camry big daddy of 2005 in 2023. Or Toyota Highlander of 2002 That's 18 - 21 years after manufacture date. The mileage would be extremely high, mechanic would have touch touch the motor taya. It might have gear box issue, oil leakages, shock problem...etc.

Then you now talk about our bad roads, and quack mechanics. This is why it looks as if some brand of cars are bad.

Or imagine someone driving Honda EOD or baby boy in 2023 and complaining of leg problems, isn't that ridiculous? I doubt if people in civilized countries buy cars that old. Not when they have access to credit facilities which they can use to get newer models.

In Nigeria here, you'll buy whatever your money can afford.

There are brands that continuously make very unreliable models over the years. From gearbox issues to excessive oil consumption, engine failure & electrical issues.
There are brands that their models are sold with a premium price & cost a premium to maintain. Then after all that they depreciate so quickly that in a couple years a Corolla will cost more.
There are brands that are good in one region and horrible elsewhere. Nissan is very good in the US but bring it to Nigeria and see hell.

Finally there are brands with models cursed with all the above. Now that is a bad model from a bad brand. But regardless people still stubbornly buy them and even have a cult following.

I will not mention the brands & their models cos their die hard fans are here. They know themselves sha.

In the auto industry, Land Rover Freelander is regarded as a vehicle that came out of the factory with 100 defects.

Even Mercedes Benz admitted that ‘V-Boot’ and A-Class are about the worst products from their stable.

That’s to tell you that there are good and bad vehicles.
