The fire on the commercial tanker Strinda continues after an attack from Yemen US Central Command: The tanker STRINDA was attacked by what is believed to be an anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) fired from Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen while passing through Bab al-Mandeb. STRINDA reported damage resulting in a fire on board, but there are no casualties at this time. There were no US ships nearby at the time of the attack, but USS MASON responded to M/T STRINDA's distress call and is currently providing assistance."

United States and Ukraine are developing a new military strategy, and Lieutenant General Antonio Aguto will go to Kiev to help come up with it, writes the New York Times. At the same time, there is still no consensus between Washington and Kiev on the content of this strategy. According to the publication, US and Ukrainian officers hope to work out the details of the new strategy during war games scheduled for January in Wiesbaden, Germany. At the same time, the Ukrainians advocate offensive actions in the hope of attracting the attention of the world community, while American advisers, on the contrary, are promoting a more restrained option aimed at accumulating forces throughout the year. Journalists believe that the goal of the new strategy will be to create a significant force with which Russia “will have to reckon and enter into meaningful negotiations at the end of 2024 or already in 2025.” But a large number of Republicans in the US Congress have said they will not vote on any additional spending on Ukraine until they see that very new strategy. The publication’s sources also reported that the Ukrainian authorities do not understand how unstable further funding from the United States is, and they have unrealistic expectations about what exactly the United States will supply. For example, they are asking for millions of artillery shells from Western stocks that do not exist.

The result of the request is obvious (!), the author of the article openly admits, so he calls for turning a blind eye to this and continuing cooperation with Saudi Arabia, despite its “shortcomings,” otherwise it will want to acquire its own nuclear weapons.

Footage surfaced earlier today of a destroyed Israeli vehicle evacuated from Gaza. A clear anti-tank penetration to the side and a catastrophic explosion that burned it. This is the second such video to surface recently on social media. iykofias:Israeli media now claims a total of 15 houses were damaged in 3-5 ATGM rockets fired by Hezbullah yesterday. One of the houses was completely destroyed. However due to the security situation, settlement leaders aren't allowed to visit to check and inspect the damages. 1 Like |

Of the 105 Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza: - 15 were killed in direct friendly fire (5 by airfire, 4 by tank fire, 4 by gunfire, 2 bullet ejections) - 2 were crushed to death by Israeli vehicles - 3 were killed in indirect friendly fire (2 shrapnels, 1 stray bullet) Source: Israeli army via Walla The Israeli army says this is due to battle exhaustion, lack of discipline, and lack of coordinations. The Israeli army successfully located the carcasses of Eden Zacharia and Israeli army Officer Ziv Dado in Gaza. Both were kidnapped/killed on the 7th of October and brought into the strip. The operation that located their bodies was based on intelligence retrieved from Hamas/PIJ POWs who were arrested by the army in Gaza. The son of Israeli Minister Gadi Eisenkot was killed in this operation along other soldiers.
