Hamas released a poster reiterating to the Israeli government that the only path to free Israelis is with conditional negotiations.

The poster shows two free settlers who were exchanged (right) and one settler killed during an Israeli raid to free him alive.

Captain Lail Hayo, 22 years old, a platoon commander in the 51st Battalion, Golani Brigade.

Major Ben Shelly, 26 years old, commander of a platoon of fighters in the Special Tactical Rescue Unit (669).

Major Rom Hecht, 20 years old, a fighter in the Special Tactical Rescue Unit (669).

Sergeant Uriah Yacoub, 19 years old, a fighter in the 614th Battalion, Combat Engineering School.

The full cost of yesterday's fierce battle in northern Gaza, what is now being referred to as the "Shejaiya disaster," continues to come to light.

The IDF announces that Col. Itzhak Ben Basat, 44, comander of the Paran and Yiftach brigades, fell in combat. Yitftach is a reservist brigade made up of former Golani Brigade commandoes.

In total as of now, 10 soldiers were killed yesterday.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon when a brigade combat team led by Golani went out to search buildings in the Shujaiya neighborhood in a dense area.

From one of the houses, fire was opened on the fighters and an explosive device was set off.
The force returned fire, and during the capture of new positions the force split into two.
Some of the fighters entered a boobytrapped building where an explosive device was activated that caused deaths.
Later, another IED was used on another force led by the battalion commander that came to rescue the his soldiers. .

The Yemeni Houthis launched two missiles at a Marshall Islands-flagged ship in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, but missed. The ship was on its way from India to the Suez Canal. An American destroyer shot down a Houthi drone that was also flown in its direction .

The problem with the Palestinians is that they seem to consistently believe they can engage in wars, execute terrorist attacks, murder Jewish families, and instigate pogroms without facing any repercussions.
