Ogun 2027: Sen. Solomon Olamilekan Yayi Leads Nine Others In Online Poll

The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan, better known as Yayi is leading in an online opinion poll ahead of Ogun State governorship election in 2027.

Yayi, who formerly represented Lagos West Senatorial District is leading other nine governorship hopefuls in the South West state.

Out of the 54,963 votes so far, Yayi has polled a total number of 10,226 representing 19% of the total votes.

Others are, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu (12%, 6,861 Votes), Dimeji Bankole (12%, 6,451 Votes), Wale Edun (10%, 5,720 Votes), Senator Lanre Tejuoso (10%, 5,230 Votes) and Akinlade Abiodun Isiaq (9%, 4,780 Votes).

Others are, Ambassador Sarafadeen Tunji lsola (9%, 4,761 Votes), Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele (8%, 4,550 Votes), Tokunbo Talabi (7%, 3,980 Votes) and Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI) (4%, 2,404 Votes)

The poll organised by the African leadership assessments poll is an initiative of Federation of West African Freelance Journalists.

It started on the 1st of December and ends 16th of December.

He won’t win if he is not a candidate of the APC as much as Yakubu is still the INEC chairman, the Tribunal and Appeal Court judges are still the same

Useless buffoon. Our politicians are so greedy, why?. They've got no interest of the masses at heart. After finishing his 2nd term in lagos as the tradition demands, he suddenly realised he's not from lagos state and ran to Ogun so he could return to senate, thereby blocking the chance of the candidate who had been waiting patiently for that opportunity. He bribed his way through with the help of gov abiodun. Those who gave him that online polls must be either his sponsored pollsters or thise who prefer to be perpetually enslave by these greedy fellows.

I leave the Ogun people to do the needful when the time is right
