Hamas explicitly stated in their charter (or constitution) that they want the total destruction of Israel nation. What they want is more than just 2-state solution.

If you are looking for neutral news, look away from this thread. It used to be a great thread when it was focused on Russia-Ukraine. Ever since Israel-Hamas war started it's obviously became a pro-Hamas anti-Israel propaganda machine.

The bias and prejudice here is too glaring and disgusting. Even me, I only visit once in a while these days to while away time and probably get some laughs at some silly comments.

Nope...Hamas' charter states that they'll accept a 2- state solution based on the 1967 borders

The charter has been in force since 2017

That's a step in the right direction if they removed the genocidal intent in article 7 from their 1988 charter.

First of all, the part you've highlighted isn't an intent to kill jews, it's from an Islamic hadith foretelling a battle between jews and muslims towards the end of time

Secondly, Hamas adopted a new Charter in 2017, effectively jettisoning the old Charter

The 2017 Charter, which is still the current one in force, accepts a 2-State solution based on the 1967 borders

Even the old Charter stated that Hamas wasn't at war with Jews, but explicitly mentioned a commitment to ending 'the zionist state'
