There was a day I loaded more than N1,000 to add to about N1,000 I had (let me don't state the amount, so they won't know it's my report) so that it can cover the day's journey.
On getting to yaba, the 3rd place I wanted to use it, the card was rejected, that it was negative balance.. I agrily went into the terminal office to verify, and was told that I was owing about N400, and there was no sign that I recharged it that morning...

Those fraudulent ticketers could be making as much as N100,000 daily from this practice. Even if they tell you the balance, don't always believe them.

The lagos state government should look into this, by providing balance- checking machines at all stations/ parks, and also make it such a way that we can recharge ourselves, without the ticketers..

Yes you are right. I was a victim. I gave her 1000 she loaded only 500 to the card. The best thing to do is download the cowry app so you can monitor everything.

See what they do...
assuming your last balance is N400 and you want to recharge N1000, they will quickly check yr balance before loading...they may load any amount for you, and still tell you that your balance is N1400....You won't know how yr expected money disappeared

I am in a kind of fix here. Anyone who can help. I mistakenly downloaded the Cowry app thinking it was Cowryrise as I wanted to fund the wallet. Please any genuine person that is willing for their Cowry wallet to be funded should reach out. I don't even stay in Lagos and this is my first time hearing about the app. 080.6092.13zero0
