What if the whole thing was a trap to lure Israel into ground battle. Hama's successful infiltration of Israel signals improvements of their military capabilities. I think the Russians are more professional in Ukraine compared to what is happening in Gaza - those that attributes military strength by virtue of quick military victory/maneures without considering the humanitarian disaster are clueless. The Russians could destroy Ukraine in two months but not without much civilian casualties, there was no need for that.
