Are you saying that the over 500 languages spoken in the US today are all from native Americans?
Nope.

Neddyogu:
Nope.
So why the argument?

My submission in my previous posts that the reason for the vast languages in America is because most immigrants see it as a suitable candidate destination for them to settle down.

I know that there are native Americans, but aside Spanish and maybe one or two unknown languages, they all speak English.

Any strange language spoken in America today, was introduced by immigrants. I heard that a university in the US recently approved yourba language among west African languages that you can actually study over there.

Would you say that yourba is an indigenous language in the US spoken by natives? Of course not. The language like every other languages spoken there was introduced into their system by immigrants.

Not aware there was an argument tho. Just pointed out the fact that a great number of American languages are in fact indigenous and not foreign.

See countries with wide range of languages and you will never for once hear of thier elections causing a little argument between two people, but in Nigeria, when elections are getting close, the whole world will usually feel how divided and bitter we are towards one another, the ethnic wars in the country will be felt by neighbouring countries, just because we are about to elect another set of political disasters.

Surprised that the United States has that much.
Didn't even know they have different ethnics to that extent.
Though a very big country with large expanse of land , almost equivalent in size to a Continent.
Surprised that, the United State is not even more than that.

The USA is the melting pot of global immigration and the most popular destination for most immigrants worldwide.

And immigrants come to the USA with their culture, traditions and languages.

The good news is that, with coming years and decades the numbers for the USA will keep increasing and at a point would be the highest worldwide.

Americans speaks English. Immigrant speaks their various languages there. It's just like you a Yoruba roun travels to USA and starts speaking Yoruba.
Okay but why are you still tribalistic in your response. (ronu in your comment is not necessary).

it's not all about immigrants, just like Brazil and Mexico, there are so many native Americans that speak their ancestral languages...about 169 languages
You don't what immigrants means? Dude those immigrants in America have been there for years and decades and hence speak their ancestral languages there. Brazil and Mexico have their official languages and they're not immigrants Dude they're indigens. While that of America are immigrants who happened to migrate to America decades ago either through slave or in search of greener pastures.

Americans are English people Dude, na those immigrants wey enter American decades ago dey speak their ancestral languages

It's the immigrant languages bro. Only the aboriginal languages (American Indian languages) English and Spanish are the major languages that has enough case for the term "Ethnics" in America. French was largely spoken in Lousiana but I don't know whether it has enough relevancy to be termed an ethnic language.
Merry Christmas and Happy new year in advance sir. God bless
