Transport subsidy was announced by the FG.

100% transport subsidy for trains. Currently, South East has no train passing through it because of lack of infrastruture.


The 50% transport subsidy for buses was not for only South East region. Some northern states were included too.
Sokoto, Gombe, Abuja, Kaduna, Jos are among the beneficiaries of bus transport subsidy.
