i learnt the price of chicken is dam high this period going between the range of N10,000 to N20,000 here in Abuja. what is the price in your location.

10k to 18k. I currently sell

Blame the cost of feeds.

On Saturday to Monday.

Trust me 10k chickens no go dey. If u see. Na d usual 7k own go become 10k coz of the rush.

People wont rush keh. This is Nigeria.

The rush don start sef.

Its like sallah season. Ram righht now is 60k. When sallah reach na 120 to 150k.

And d rush will still be there.

A seller I seldomly patronize wanted to sell a broiler to me at #25,000 few days ago. Na old layers we go chop jare.

25k. Dat broilers must be like 7kg. E cost sha.

Old layer use to be 3k to 4k.
Now na like 7k and its even scarce with little meat after killing it.

Local fowl now is 4k to 5k.
U either buy or vex dey go.

Government has frustrated the masses..even villagers no dey gree sell to marketers again

Dey go to market n sell themselves and get d profit on a low.

Nigerians and exploitation! How much is a bag of feed that warrants a chicken to be sold at 10K? Someone like me who doesn't like chicken will just ignore those sellers so they can keep their chicken till it grow horns.

Left for only,all these people selling chicken these expensive will eat there chicken themselves.I just tank God I don't like that meat.
