We need divine intervention in that LB because almost all opposition managers will be instructing their team to attack that Zinchencko side anytime he’s on the pitch
What's annoying me is he's giving extra work to Rice as a result. Infact Gabby too being dragged out. An experienced manager and winner of UCL nights will be smiling so bad anticipating us meeting one night all because of Zinny and White.

If u want to lash out at Marzinelli for his Abysmal performance , feel free to do that but don’t disrespect Saka with this kind yarns .

U admit an attacker is giving returns of goals and assists and yet u claim he’s the worst attacker u’ve seen playing for arsenal ….. smh . I guess Lacazette, Joel Campbell and dem Chamakh are ur best arsenal attackers shebi ?

I don’t even think u read what u posted before posting it

I been type very long epistle as rebuttal for that thing wen him post but God tell me say make I no waste my time.

Sometimes i do think that his presence is masking the actual status quo of our midfield. Cos Kai and Odegaard ehnn.
I have this hunch that he still has so much more to give (in attack) but he is holding back because of his defensive duties. I just dey vex for Partey and Tomi with the useless injuries Dem dey carry around.

We either just use them in a 352 setting or move Xinny to middle and let the natural do what they've trained almost 2 decades of their lives for and make us not conceded cheap goals.

If Partey was on tonight, he's taken off half of the workload Odegaard did tonight. He would also make Gomez be fully pinned back instead of those overlapping and shots on goals he was having (i hate the space they gave this guy to be shooting. It further infuriated me that we no dey shoot for tight spaces)

Baba no be only u . I just dey vex especially as it concerns Rice. I hope Rice won’t burn out before Timber and Tomiyasu come back due to the triple work White and Zinchencko are giving him.

Omorr, this is the worst performance I've seen from Martinelli in an arsenal shirt. He's been poor lately but this is the height of it. Gosh, I almost hated him today embarassed

Also I noticed our players, attackers mostly are mostly predictable in their moves. Once we reach 18yard box for a shot, Saka is always expected to cut into his left and shoot while Martinelli does same in the opposite flank. The worst part is that opposition knows that's what they want to do and they'll block the space leaving room for shots with their weaker foot, yet our attackers would still want to force it and it's killing our goalscoring chances. Last season we were very unpredictable as Saka scored some right footed shots at the wing (Everton and Leeds for example) while Martinelli scored some left footed shots (west ham and crystal palace for example). Now, they don't even try it at all. If they don't cut in to take shot, No show!!
Also Martinelli needs bench time.

Havertz. While he's not been bad lately, but our attack dulls with him when he's on the ball. Sometimes players will be running and I'll be expecting him to release the ball to the attacker esp in space only for him to turn back and pass(killing the potential goalscoring chance). His workrate esp and confidence is getting better but he needs to add attacking facets to his game. He's an attacker Mf for crying out loud.

I think arsenal had their moments while Liverpool had theirs. Tho we were lucky with the Odegaard handball and Trent miss but overall it's a fair game.

Defence was good except for Zinny. Sometimes his overconfidence can be very very tiring. Tried defensively at least in the second half compared to his first half roasting. We need Tomi quickly

Not a bad result but we could have been better clinically

Before I drop pen, Big Hats off to Saliba and Rice. Those two have been holding this team well and giving the forward confidence. Gabu deserve a mention too

Resounding it once more.

Petty prank from Liverpool to make the centre circle slippery. No wonder VVD and Konate avoided it well
I was shocked and angry when I saw Nelli dropping like bag of beans not knowing Liverpool being their stupid trick

Thunder fire Klopp cause he can complain in every match from away and he decided to do same thing he complains about

It's actually an oversight.
It was supposed to be wingers.

Saka and Martinelli are Wingers.
And it is the both of them and not just Martinelli alone.

Klopp tactics worked well. So fluid that this is one of the games with lowest % of ball at certain moments of the game in 2 seasons. I really hate that super crucial moments of our game is dependent on someone that will waste 19 and score 1 and then you don't expect anything, he scores.

The Saka and Martinelli situation has been a cause for concern, and it is only being covered up by the immense displays of Rice and the defenders.

When Sanchez and Ozil were trying their best, the defence was whack aF.
The defenders are now doing well, and our attack is toothless.

Their unpredictability is a sign of IMPROPER DEVELOPMENT.
That's why they tend to blow hot and cold from time to time.

While I made an oversight, I meant wingers.

And yes, since I was talking about Wingers, Saka and Martinelli are amongst our major problems in attack.
Then add Odegaard - who's supposed to be our chief influencer but doesn't influence games at all.

Exactly, we just need a sharp 9 by January but that tactics shouldn’t limit Saka and Nelli outputs sha

The thing I'm afraid of is that Teta might get carried away by Kai working and refuse to find Xhaka replacement. I commend Kai though but i hate the chances we wasted plus no shot from these guys. Haba. We can't win if firing shots is not forthcoming. I'm tired. But once again, this game was Klopp's to Win. The 5v1 situation that TAA didn't bury is proof. We are lucky.

As for White, whoever still rates this guy dey gba. It is the big games, the grand stages of crucial minutes that we need you revved up. That is how it is done. He is por at his primary duty. And this is Diaz, sometimes Gomez. Smh.
I’m not sure white is fully fit cause the guy was off today, see the way they dribbled him

Rice is just fantastic I’m every match aswear

Attached is Last Year’s official PFA EPL team of the year . Guess what ? Saka had 25 Goal/Assist contribution out of 88 goals we scored , e did that as a winger to earn a place on that team.

Do u know more than the PFA or what exactly ? Or u no just like Saka ?

A question i just saw on twitter

In a big game, you need goals to win. Are Trossard and Nketiah the subs you bring on to make that win possible?

😒😒😒😒

This question pain me. E suppose pain you too

U sure say na Arsenal of london u dey support and not Arsenal Tula of Russsia ?

Now imagine an actual 9 with that 25G/A too this season or next. That's my point. Saka and Nelli can't shoulder us always. I don't see it as "being reliant on the 9" because I've factored in days where many players won't get goals too. Nelli and Saka are on those kind of days this season, sincerely. What they need is someone to reduce that burden on them.

It's not like the everybody are even scoring. That's why Nketiah is our highest goalscorer after 18games.

Something needs to change up front. Nelli's performance tonight may be replicated on big crucial nights and it will be more painful then. This is just to buttress the Saka numbers case which may not happen if something doesn't change.

A bitter fact is-Our wingers are predictable!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting.
You use stats to judge your players as opposed to what you watch on the pitch?

my pov is both are kinda locked 🔐 right now in a way. If a 9 can unlock them and make that attack way lethal than last season, the MA needs to do the needful. Sometimes, it takes one signing to unlock some struggling players. Anything for a even better performance upfront is the goal. Right now, no be so.

A fully fit White will still be average for his primary duty-defending!! Yasu attacks better than him and defends even way way better than him. Upper Class. BW dey gimme Bellerin vibes. Abi na Monreal?

Which stats ? Everybody who knows about football knows Saka has been the best thing to happen to arsenal in recent times His fellow players , club legends , rival fans and even the premier league officials have nothing both word of admiration for him.

Na only u I don see dey cap careless say he’s the worst winger u’ve watched play for Arsenal . undecided

The predictability is why they struggle so much.
You could see them doing same thing over and over again that didn't seem to work.
This is an issue of improper development.
People are not seeing this because they score goals and make assists, but I've noticed this for a long time now.

The problem with an IMPROPERLY DEVELOPED talent is that they'll be found wanting when they're needed most. Why?
Because more than anyone else in the team, they're the ones most relied on for results.

Now, apart from goals and assists, let's be honest. How has Saka and Martinelli improved their game? Can you see it? I can't.

We saw how Alex Song grew and improved. We saw RVP, Fabregas, etc.
Among the major problem is the lack of models for them. They're their own models, and it doesn't work that way when you're not a TRUE special talent.
