Do We Need Scritural References In Support Of Christmas Celebration ? by paxonel(op): 5:53am On Dec 24, 2023
To be Frank, we don't need any such references!
All we know is, Adam and Eve sinned from the beginning and mankind started dying. But Jesus Christ died and resurrected and restore eternal life back to us.
Hence, we celebrate him anytime, anyday. And Christmas poses another opportunity to celebrate him worldwide for the life he has given us.

Do we we need historical considerations before celebrating Christmas?
We don't need it.
Do we also ask, why is 25th December chosen for the celebration?
We don't need any such questions because all days were created by him. So if someone decides to choose one day for his celebration, it is never out of place.
So, all we want to do is just celebrate him, because he deserves it.

As far as rcertain religious celebrations such as Christmas are concern especially in this modern era, whatever we decides to do, whatever is our opinion, falls within the discretion of our power and does not require us to obtain any laid down references be it from the bible or any authority.
Meaning, we have the absolute power to actualize our ideas and decisions without interference of the contrary. So long such decisions and ideas does not go beyond the framework of ethical considerations

Merry Christmas !

Merry Christmas !
Cancer is celebrated, Diabetes is celebrated, Mothers also have their day. None of these is paganism.

One simp would tell me that making a day special for my Lord and Saviour is paganism.

I don't really care.
Merry Christmas everyone that cherish the works and passion of Jesus to humanity.

Of course!

The end justifies the means!

1. Christmas wasn't mentioned by name anywhere in the Bible just as trinity!

2. Many so called big pastors has called it idolatrous or don't celebrate it.

3. Jesus spent about 33 years on earth and he didn't for once celebrated Christmas!

4. The Christmas tree and Santa are pathetic symbols of paganism! We call masquerades idolatry but embrace red and white Santa!

How was Christmas celebrated anywhere in the Bible like this?
