If Bola Ahmed Tinubu had come before Obafemi Awolowo, most Yorubas would be almajiris today. Far worse than what you see in the north. But maybe it would have given other Nigerians a good opportunity to build the country into full fledge Western style. They taught it was jokes. Starting from the mistake of 2015. Both Profs, clergy and all fell for it. It happened again in 2019. No worries, this suffersticated people would allow reason and common sense to work, so that a sane person can at least savage the situation. No way, they must be who they are: Anti progress people! First, they turn rice bandits. Not done, Next their mothers in the village started protesting that panla bonga fish wey correct niggas dey take feed dogs is no longer affordable. Ok these obidients talk too much. They hate emilokan, that is after pocketing 30k per month. If you think poverty is not a weapon, then you have a lot to learn! As Asiwaju has firmly weaponized poverty, make una expect more gnashing of teeth in 2024! The credit lines have run dry. Ghana has defaulted on loans. Zambia is latest country to default. The talk in town now is whether Nigeria would default. Once it does, bruh the rest is history. A Northern politician once said something that Yorubas ought to ponder seriously about if we are still a thinking people. He said if Bola Ahmed Tinubu had come before Obafemi Awolowo, most Yorubas would be almajiris today. Did you hear that? I never heard a word so true from the mouth of a politician of the Fourth Republic. If destiny had pushed this man ahead and he was the first then most people in this Yoruba land will be beggars by now. Because everything will be priced out of the reach of the poor: Housing, Market, Schools, Colleges, Universities... With Scholarships only for Children of those who are ready to 'ranka dede' him and lick the boot of his aides and foot Soldiers. |
