Dear Seun by Keaton(op): 3:24pm On Dec 30, 2023
In the last 24 hours, I've noticed (I don't know if other people have noticed it also) how slow NL frontpage has become. Last night, I had to leave NL for twitter, returned in 2 hours, and not a single new topic has graced FP. Even the ones that did were so banal and tasteless.

I actually thought that today will be better, but I noticed the same thing today so I visited NLFPMOD's profile and found out that he has been off the grid since the 28th. I don't know if he's on leave or if you sacked him, but does it mean that your other mods do not know topics that Nigerians will be fascinated by?

What sort of shoddy wacko job is this? So if Lalastic leaves, the rest of them do not know what to do? For chrissakes there are so many interesting and wonderful threads just gathering dust. I saw a thread about world elites who are building underground bunkers, the OP has begged and begged for FP but his calls fell on deaf ears. This particular OP is a front-page regular, so why is he being ignored?

For me, and other diaspora Nigerians, NL is the only way we get to feel the pulse of home, but if your mods continue on this path, a lot of people will leave to twitter or FB and never return. It's not a speculation, it's a fact. I wonder why interesting threads are languishing in various sections while the only thing we get to see on FP is depressing news that sucks the joy out of ya. Please do something about this. If someone is deliberately trying to sabotage your brainchild, maybe it's time you step back in.

Love and light, Oga Seun.

I'm sorry bro, but I can't give out my number randomly. I'd prefer to know what you'll like us to talk about first.

Sir, kindly in your tender heart help me with any little amount you can afford now to buy some cups of rice and beans so that me and my daughter can cook them with charcoals and eat them in the long run.

Sir, I’m just begging you with my life and daughter’s life.

Sir, no amount is too small sir…..

Even though, if it’s 5000 or 4000 or 3000 or 2000 or 1000 naira you can afford to send to me now it’ll be highly appreciated.

Should I send my account details sir?

Ondo State sir…..

Sir Keaton,

I am begging you in the name of God Almighty, any “minute” amount of money you can afford to assist me with now will still go a long way to help me and my daughter temporarily out of these pathetic conditions

I pray, may you and your adorable and amiable FAMILY continue to THRIVE in LIFE in Jesus name, amen.

Should I send my account details sir?

I like the fact that you're honest. But quite frankly, I've vowed not to support anyone that supports or have supported Tinubu. I'm not in Nigeria, but the exchange rate tells me everything I need to know. You people collectively wrecked Nigeria and what's even worse is that you have still refused to admit that your electoral choices were wrong. I'm sorry bro, look elsewhere. Thanks.

Let tribalism feed the sentimental fools.

When you are all ready to break the yoke of hardship and poverty imposed on you by incompetent leadership, you know what to do.

I hope tribalism will cater for your needs in old age. Just take a look at your old folks right now, their current predicament will be like paradise compared to what is coming for you all in old age.

Just dey play
